I think that every once in a while, people should have to retake a road test in order to renew their license. I don't think that passing a road test in your teens makes you qualified to drive for the rest of your life.

Unless if you're Asian... then you could be exempt. Hahaha.

I failed parallel parking and still passed. I still cant parallel park for shit to this day. Back in my day you could fail one task, and still pass.
I didn't even really have a road test. The guy was in a hurry. He asked me a few questions and then had me pull into the parking lot and park in a space. My mom was so mad! She was a bus driver and had taught me, so she knew I could drive well, but it was more that the guy didn't seem to care about finding out.
I think people who are doing some kind of labor for you (tile installation) and can't give you a good timeline for project need to be fired. Mostly because this guy doing my mom's tile is as slow as Christmas and I just want the use of the kitchen and to know when I need to get a hotel. Fuck.
Yeah, that is a load of crap. (That he's taking so long and not giving you a timeline, not that you think he's an ass)

This isn't an UO, just a random.
I am a bad friend today. I am supposed to have girls night at my house tonight, but my nausea makes me not great company. I cancelled.
I said "Someone kept me up most of the night". Which isn't exactly a lie, but they will assume I mean Henry, and he slept great!
The Sangria/Margharita mix sounds delightful.
I love a half pina colada half strawberry dacquiri (sorry for the bad spelling, at work this doesn't spell check). I think they call that a Miami Vice?
Really? NJ had one written and road. I think. Man, it was a long time ago.
At least back in the day when I was taking them. skiesthelimit - do you know? Not sure if Quebec has the same rule.
Not the tagged probie, but yup.
A written test to get your G1 (like a learners) A driving test for you G2 (can drive on your own, but have restrictions) And a driving test for your G (no restrictions, other than those imposed by the Province on teenagers)

Ack, sorry! I always forget there are other Ontario people here.

Most froo-froo drinks are about a million times too sweet for my taste. I like frozen margaritas if I make them myself and they're not sickly sweet.
S/O driving, the rules regarding who's at fault in an accident are bullshit. DH got in a minor accident because some douchebag lady accelerated as he was merging, but since he was the one merging, he's considered at fault. I don't think the rules take aggressive douches into account.
I always drink frozen margaritas. I believe that drinking the ice helps curb the hangover and then I don't feel so bad about not drinking a ton of water.

Yeah, my boyfriend in college got in to a minor accident--someone was backing up and he hit them, but the cop said it doesn't matter who caused the accident, whoever actually hit the other person is at fault.
