This is not a thread for debating! Just vote and move on.
For the mobiles: My son is circumcised My son is not circumcised I have daughters but I plan to circumcise any future sons I have daughters and I do not plan to circumcise any future sons I am undecided about circumcision
This is the one thing my husband is adamant about- he said it absolutely must happen. I don't care either way. I do, however, distinctly remember the two guys I graduated high school with that weren't circumcised. I never saw their penises but they were athletes and word got out very quickly after a locker room changing session. I always felt bad for those two- I wouldn't want everyone I graduated with knowing something that personal about me, ya know?

I worry about this too but then I think more kids aren't these days?
My good friend's husband was not circ'd. But as he got older the foreskin around the tip (?) began to stretch and tear away when he would get an erection. He actually stopped having sex completely because of the pain and bleeding. Finally, at 26 he had to get circ'd. OUCH.
I assume that is not common at all but, omg, I can't imagine.

Eeek. That is horrific!
YEAH.
The girl and I were roommates at the time and only told me because he had to stay there after the surgery (they were only dating at the time) because he couldn't drive, shower or in general sit down by himself. I felt so bad for him and he was so embarrassed the entire time.
If we have a boy he will be circumsized. That is DH's decision. He is not circ. But feels very strongly about having it done if we ever have a boy.
Interesting! Why does he feel so strongly?
I think it was an issue as a teen. I know that he was embarassed by it when we first starting dating. I see nothing wrong with not being circd but I feel like this is something he can make the decision on. If we ever have a boy that is!

That's too bad. H isn't either but didn't feel strongly either way. I was worried about teasing too but it seems much more common not to do it these days.
Ugh I don't know what to decide if our next is a boy. It is such an important decision (in my opinion) and I don't know what we will do. I don't really want to but I think DH would want to have it done.

If H had been a boy she would have because we had a very standard hospital experience. D was not born in the hospital and thus probably would not have been because it would have required extra effort on our part. Since we were Team Green both times and had girls we never had to officially decide.
