Down 3.5 lbs. Cutting out carbs always makes me drop a ton of weight fast, but this time I am also building muscle so hope it sticks. I went up 10 lbs in my weights at the gym. I keep telling my trainer he is my least favorite person when we working out, and afterwards I love him. I don't figure I will loose a lot since i am trying to also add muscle mass, but I have lost 11 inches all over my body in the last 2 months.
I am down 6.6 but I know lots of that is water weight given how much I have to lose.
I did stay on track with eating and actually worked out/shoveled snow 4 times this week. Normally I wouldn't count snow shoveling but given how much snow we got at the beginning of the week, I'll count it.

Gained 0.3
I started the 5:2 diet last week and I did fantastic.....and then this weekend happened. And then I forgot to weigh myself as soon as I woke up, so I had to weigh myself after I drank some water. Sigh.
Unfortunately a bad week for me, up 2.2. I went away to a business conference where they took us out every night and then got my period this weekend to boot. I'm back to tracking today!
It's my own fault. Last Monday, I had an indiscretion with a Cuban sandwich, sweet potato fries and a few martinis. And Tuesday, i had a hangover that only McDs and a chicken cheesesteak could fix. Also, I had my period. That's not my fault, but it's true, and it always makes me gain.
But I rallied later in the week by waking up before work Wed - Fri to go to the gym, and I took a yoga class on Saturday (and signed up for a month unlimited yoga), and I went to the gym yesterday. I also managed to go out to dinner for a friend's bday yesterday and not go over my calories for the day.
This has nothing to do with weight loss, but it IS health-related. I'd like to AW that I am now 12 days smoke-free.

Ok, i must be losing my mind, I remembered the wrong weight from last week , sorry for the confusion @trickybob. I gained exactly 1 pound, not 2.2! I feel a little better now (just a little)

Lost 0.4lbs. Not great - but I know this isn't going to be an easy journey for me. Damn PCOS.
I ate well through the week, and it kind of went to crap over the weekend. We were too busy and I just didn't plan well.
I did join a new gym. They use usb keys that you plug into the machines and it loads a pre-programmed routine for you. So far mine seems to be a total body workout with a mix of cardio and weights. It's a little weird in that you do your cardio broken up (10min treadmill, 15min bike, 10min eliptical, etc) with the weights in betweeen. It was a little discouraging... I didn't do so hot in the physical assessment you start with. And I can't get through a full work-out at one time yet. If you look at me (and my weight-loss goals), you wouldn't realize how bad off I am. It's ok though - I can only go up from here!

I lost 1.5 lbs. We've been doing Insanity 6 days a week at our house and protein-loading to accommodate the increased workout. I'll be interested to see if I lose inches, but pounds lost is always good, too!

Down 1 lb
I'm way too excited about this. I'm on my period and yesterday I had a bacon cheeseburger, frozen pizza, and ton of vodka tonics at the game. I'm hoping for a bigger loss this week and some better food choices before and after the game.
