Please post pounds lost/if you have stayed the same/if you have gained this week in this thread. You can always PM me, if that is your preference. I do not decimal discriminate, sometimes that .1-.9 can make all the difference, so include it if your scale gives it to you.
Feel free to AW your week, vent about your week, ask any questions about food or exercise, comment on food or exercise, cheer people on, or creep the thread.
For anyone still wondering about the myfitnesspal GBCN group, please PM hopecounts as she knows what she is doing and will add you. Or tell you how to get there.
There are 14 of you that have yet to respond whether you are in or you are out. I sent out group PMs over the weekend to those I am missing.
Good luck and I am super excited to see what everyone has been up to this last week!
Darn I already ate and I like to weigh myself before I eat in the AM. I will weigh myself tomorrow! I'm doing the Atkins diet since 12/26. I've lost 6lbs so far (as of my weigh-in last week). Sugar is my weakness and I am starting to feel the craving subsiding. After a few weeks on Atkins I plan to stay away from refined sugar and most carbs because I think if I can battle this sugar addiction I can probably maintain a very healthy weight for myself more easily and stop (hopefully) binging.

Oh sorry, I pm'd you before seeing this post
I'm an AW (this week lol) so I'll also drop it in here: I am down three pounds. Made me yell "holla" in my room just now. Had to explain to dh. I think he still thinks I'm weird. He's proud though lol.
Good luck ladies I'm looking forward to reading everyone's update!
Down 2.2 lbs. I'm doing a modified whole30. I panicked because I noticed a drop in output (I'm breastfeeding and pumping at work), so I added oatmeal back in. I've dropped almost 6 lbs since I started Jan 2, and I know these high numbers won't continue. I'll be happy with a lb per week going forward.

I stayed the same.
This doesn't surprise me. My dad was in town and K is sick. I was down a pound, but I suspect it was mostly water weight because I had three pastries yesterday and that pound was back on this morning.
I feel like I need to clarify to everyone that I'm in this group for extra support but don't be discouraged by the rate of my loss. I am following a very strict program with the help of my GYN. It doesn't involve HCG but I do take an appetite suppressant and vitamin B complex shots.
With that said, this week was very challenging because DH made a double date to go to a cocktail bar. So I had to be really careful with my choices there and that day in general. What I did was forego carbohydrates completely that day and I ordered a delicious drink that lasted me all of the date (about 3 hours) made of gin, vodka, a splash of champagne, mint and lime. So the only sugar came from the champagne but it was a small amount and vodka and gin have low calorie counts compared to other liquors.
This week I also tried to be really good about drinking water. I am supposed to drink 128 oz of liquid and half of those have to be plain water.
If anyone has any questions I'm happy to answer them.
Is this the scale you will be using for the remainder?
I'm sure it is just the difference between scales.
I really hope so. That is a bruise to my already fragile ego.
My MFP was at 1200 calories and I was under for most of the week. I'm also listed as sedentary, but I do move around a little bit. Think I'm not eating enough?
I would try bumping up your calories to 1300 for the week and see if it makes a difference. I really had a hard time with the understanding of "you have to eat to lose weight"

I wouldn't stress it since you were using a different scale. Different scales can give really different reads.
You really don't want to be eating under 1200, it can slow your metabolism down in the long run. MFP usually will yell at you if you are under 1200 net. I also personally think 1200 is too low for most people, especially if they are active or exercising.
I'd try upping it to around 1300-1400 - you can change this on the goals setting on MFP also so that it isn't yelling at you as being over your goal for the day. See how that goes and tweak as you see fit.
I've put a pound on but I did have a terrible week of no gym & too much wine so I wrote it off and ate chips & chocolate during the weekend to round things off nicely...
Back on the wagon today, I'm making a chart to fill in weight/measurements weekly, updating MFP and printing shopping lists from skinnytaste.

@beagle - how tall are you and how much did you list as wanting to lose a week?
1200 is too low for most people. I'm only 5'0" and put a half a pound a week and it put me in the 1200 category. I'm nursing, though, so I eat more than that.
ETA - it's virtually impossible for you to have gained a legitimate 4.7 pounds. I would chalk that up to different scales.
