I follow @smo on Pinterest and I admit, I think "if I dressed like that I bet I would be happier." You were pinning some all black outfits today that I loved!
1. What is Polyvore? I googled the name off the watermark in one of the picture and it brought me to Christa on Polyvore. They just put together beautiful looks?
2. I have been stalking this Christa broad's polyvore for that red outfit and can't find it.
3. How do I find the ones that don't have watermarks at all?
Okay, so something that has been bothering me since last year is that I can't seem to find simple layering t-shirts that aren't see through. Why is this a thing? I don't want my bra to show through my white t-shirt. I can't imagine I'm the only one. Any suggestions? Help!
Honestly, I go right for the old lady section at a department store like Belk for layering pieces. They're always thicker fabric and not that long and lean fit that doesn't fit my short and stumpy self.

Polyvore is kind of like a cross between Pinterest and paper dolls.
Hey speaking of Polyvore, is there, on Polyvore or on some other site, a way to pick like one item - say, for example, a pair of boots - and see every outfit anyone has made with those boots?
Is Charming Charlie a hit-or-miss kind of a deal? Half of the stuff I've purchased there has fallen apart rather quickly.
Do you have a Versona near you? It's the same concept as Charming Charlie's with everything sorted by color but I feel like the jewelry is better quality. Most of it is in the $15-$20 range but it feels a little more substantial to me.

I've got a about a dozen pieces that I bought in the past and everything has held up except one pair of earrings. The earrings color looks scratched up. I bought about seven sets of earrings recently for $34 dollars. So, I think that's pretty good deal for for jewelry. Like HBC said they also have scarves, purses, shoes, etc...So it's a fun place to look at more trendy stuff.

Some of it turns me green (like the bracelet I'm wearing today) but I've never had anything fall apart. Are you getting pretty heavy pieces or more dainty stuff?

I haven't had trouble with the jewelry so much as the bags and wallets.

Oh, then that reminds me that I had a CC purse that the lining fell completely out of, but it lasted a good 2 years. I have another bag that a handle snapped off of, but I treated it really rough (and I happened to be in China so I had an excuse to buy a really cute replacement!). Verdict: Quality is about what you'd expect for the price. Buy your trendy stuff there, but go higher quality for an everyday piece.

Yes. You can search by brand or brand plus item name and find it (I used Frye Paige as an example):
On the left underneath the item, there are three tabs - more items & looks, sets, and collections. If you click on sets, it will bring up sets that use this item. The tricky thing is that they are organized by the store they are pinned from, instead of the same item so you may have to dig through the search page a few times to find all the sets. Because the sets here in the one I just posted as an example are all the sets linked to the piperlime Frye Paige so there might be more pinned from another site.
Also on polyvore you can follow people, which is cool, and I think a lot of the stores have pages you can follow. I think in the past Nordstrom has done some anniversary sale pages.
Some of my favorite recently pinned fall looks (I know some of these are huge):
One of my pinterest tricks it to pick something from my closet and type it into the Pinterest search box. i.e. "Navy Blazer" and then find something I have in my closet that can work with what pin I've liked.
I have been drooling over that Madewell tote for months.
What's the verdict on argyle? I picked up a new argyle sweater from Tommy Hilfiger and I plan on pairing it with dark jeans and possibly a blazer or maybe I might pair it with a collared shirt underneath.
I also plan on rocking my riding boots again this year. I'd like to pick up some statement necklaces because I do not really accessorize very much and I'd like to change that. I just hate that they are so pricy and BR and J Crew. Does anyone have any suggestions for cheaper jewelry?
Charming Charlie. Statement necklaces and scarves for days.
