Well, there is a difference between Childless and Childfree. The definition of the 2nd indicates no future intention of having children. I am in the second group, I do not ever intend to have children.
I'm starting to feel left behind in my demographic though, and that kinda sucks.
I remember when this happened to me and it's a strange feeling when society feels like you should be jumping on the bandwagon, but you know that it's not for you. It does get better though, but takes awhile.
No biological children, I am uterus free. Right now, we are underwater with elderly parent issues on all fronts. We have not completely ruled out foster/adoption. We feel like we need to figure it out/decide soon since we are 43/44.
Yes. We've been married almost 4 years, I guess it's about time to jump on that wagon... Seriously, though, we always said we would someday. It was an agreement in our relationship from the beginning and it's still something we want.
