I am totally okay with skipping everything about the wedding except for this conversation and the aftermath. Please, Outlander Gods, let this be the whole episode!
Nope. I wish they weren't trying to paint him as such a villain, but apparently that's how they're playing it.
And WTF with the Frank-searching-for-Claire scenes in the preview? Not that I have any problem with adaptations deviating from the source material when it's done well (see: the garrison commander episode), but I don't caaaare about Frank's feelings right now!

And I am disappointed that they completely left out the bit about it being the same church she married Frank in.
And at first I was a little WTF with the sex because it was so kind of awkward.....but...they really need to show that she's not just all in right from the start. So that's okay. It was pretty hot at the end.
But quite a bit different from the book. It's been pretty close so far, so I wasn't expecting that.
Dougal isn't really a villain. He does what he feels he needs to do for the protection and benefit of his clan. Also, In the book he had a huge thing for Claire.

I know!!!!! WTF was that preview about??? Are they combining the part where she leaves on her own to Craigh Na Dun and the part nearer the end where Jamie takes her there? What about Geillis and the trial? But then, do you realize where they are in the book? only like page 290 out of 800 so and there's only 8 episodes left.

Not so huge that he propositions her on her wedding night!!!

Exactly.
We know Dougal likes Claire - but he didn't treat her like a whore who would sleep with two different men on her wedding night.
