Yikes. I agree that her supervisor should be notified. It's unprofessional for her to treat the firm's employees like that - what if she treats your clients in the same manner?
Report her! If she is rude to you she is probably rude to clients as well.
She is actually REALLY NICE to clients and most people. My boss thinks she’s a “doll” and clients have commented that the girls at the front are really nice.
I don’t know what the fuck her problem with me is. I keep to myself here for the most part.
That's completely unacceptable. She needs to be reprimanded or fired. Please report her.
I can’t stomach that thought.
I think I might write her an email or a note asking what I did wrong to her. I’m such a fucking pansy I know.
No. I love you. Do not do this.
It doesn't matter what 'wrong' she perceives you to have done against her. It's work, she should do her damn job and be polite to you while she does it.

If you do this, I will fly to California and kick YOUR ass.
No. You can write her an email and tell her you do not appreciate being spoken to in that manner and that it is her job AS SUPPORT STAFF to support the attorneys.
But if you dare ask her what you did wrong, I'm on a plane in like 20 minutes. FOR REAL.
If I report her and she loses her job (which I don’t think she would) I’d feel like a shitbag. I really cannot risk that.
I think I will just ignore her. =X
Part of her job is to be nice to coworkers as well as clients. It is her responsibility to behave nicely and professionally with you as much as anyone else that feels she is a 'doll.' You have grounds to report her, as well as a witness who clearly felt that her behavior was not acceptable as well. Don't give her the power to make you look awkward or unable to stand up for yourself when it is necessary.
I think she was probably just joking and it came across badly. I would tell her (by email because I'm also a wuss) what you know she was kidding but that it still upset you.
I think this stems from the bagel incident. The other month I was PMSing really hard and really EMO about there being no more pumpernickel bagels left. I asked if she’d save it for me next time. She said “it’s bagels. It’s first come, first serve.”
I said “melinda used to save it for me every week.” She said “it’s first come, first serve, every week.”
I might have rolled my eyes and got a little huffy.
So she's just a bitch then?
I'd save the last pumpernickel bagel for you. Even if I wouldn't, I would not have responded that way--I'd just cover it with "Didn't have any this week, sorry!" or something less bitchy.

LOL.
She bitched out first that time too. "It's bagels." It's breakfast, motherfucker, and it's okay to have BREAKFAST PREFERENCES. She could've been like "aw, man, that sucks. I'm not sure if I can save you one in the future, but I'll keep it in mind." But she pulled an "it's bagels."
I predict she's going to quit (if she's not fired) because this whole job is beneath her within 6 months.

farmer. come on. you are better than this. she will NOT lose her job as a result of your complaint. nothing about your workplace suggests that that would be the outcome.
but ffs, buck up and do the professional thing here and tactfully report her most inappropriate behaviour.
100% this. She wont' be fired over this. And in reporting her, you don't have to go in balls to the wall. You can approach her boss, acknowledge that he likes her and you know she does well with clients. HOWEVER, what she did this morning was very rude and inappropriate AND unprofessional and you want to make sure this doesn't happen again.
Hopefully she'll be reprimanded about how she treats ALL employees at the firm and you'll see a sligh change. She may not be nice to you but as long as shes professional and pleasant - it's all good.

Why would you assume this? Nothing about it came off as joking.
