L woke up around 8. I'm not complaining about that part, but I suspect this is at least partially due to her ditching a weekend nap more often than not lately, including yesterday
Both kids (almost 3 and 5) were up at 4:30 - they are normally up at 5:30, so normal wake up for them. Yippee! DS2 took a 3 hour nap yesterday, so he was probably ready to be up, but DS1 was tired and should have slept another hour.
DD was up at 5:30 (so what she thought was 6:30). DH convinced her to play in her crib until almost 7:00. He got up so I could sleep, but I couldn't fall asleep again anyway. Now DD is doing fine but full of opinions, so the meltdowns could begin at any moment.
DS woke up at 5a which is his usual time so winning!
I'm in awe of your kids that wakeup and sit quietly in their cribs. Mine screams for mama / mommeee / dada / dadeeeee and starts throwing stuff out of his crib. Ha!
I've had one of each and I can say that having a kid who will play in the crib before and after nap and bed is a gift.
I'm side eyeing you dd2 with your shrill screaming before you even pick your head up off the mattress.
Argh. I am going to be away 2 weekends in November and H won't take DD to her activities alone. I don't know why this makes me so ragey (actually, I do - it means she will watch movies ALL.DAMN.DAY plus, we paid for these classes and she loves them). I want to smack him.
H woke up at 5:45 new time which is 45 minutes later than expected. He was up at 1:30 and 3:30, I think, as well. He's had a fever since Thursday night so I guess we're going to the doctor tomorrow. Poor buddy.

What? That's bullshit.
I know. In fairness (I am trying to let it go) he is pretty introverted and feels like it adds stress to take her (whereas I find it more stressful to stay home with her all day) and as he pointed out to me, they never get time together to just hang out. For him, Saturdays are for working on the house while I watch her and Sundays we are both around. So he wants 1 on 1 time too.
C was up at 5:30. We've been watching cartoons in bed since. No shame.
The REAL problem is my H. His CPAP mask broke and he's "too busy" to go get a replacement so he leaped out of bed screaming at 1:30 and 3:30. Going to commit murder, brb.
Wait, how does a cpap machine keep I'm from jumping up at night? I ask, because my h "does weird shit" at night. I've always attributed it to sleepwalking. Which his father does too... But maybe it's something else?

My H wouldn't do music class either. He felt embarrassed by having to sing in front of other people. Luckily ours offered a makeup class.
DD slept until 7:30 (old 8:30) so I'm pretty happy. She normally wakes up and plays for a bit in the crib. Not today. I woke up to her hollering in the monitor "Mommy! Daddy! I need help! I have boogers!!"
J just woke up at 9, old 10. Of course, we kept him up late last night and he's sick, so he really needed sleep. It's weird though because he's usually up at 6:30 screaming to eat like clockwork, so I was expecting that this morning at 5:30 but he didn't do it. This kid is so confusing sometimes.
After an atrocious few weeks of sleep, dd is finally back into a good sleep routine. And she's now in a toddler bed, and doing okay with it. She's still in her room. I heard some babbling earlier and suspect she's gotten out of bed to read every single book in her room, which is fine by me.
We're all getting over colds. H went downstairs to cough and hack and snot at 6:15am. He didn't shut our bedroom door so I can hear everything as if he were still in our room...
DD was up at 5:45 to nurse. I laid her back down but she said "No Mom, not happening." so we were up at 6:15. She went down at 8:15 for a nap.
Our open enrollment starts on Tuesday - I hate this time of year. I hate having to decide which plan to choose. I know, FWP right there. I'm thankful to have insurance, and to have options, but damn. I think we are going with the CDHP plan; DH is anti putting extra money in the HSA account. I think it's a good idea-ish, but I don't know how to sell it to him. He doesn't like the idea of taking more money out of his check that he can't touch.
Oh, FML. The neighbor on DD's side of the house is mowing. dammit man. No.

He stops breathing because of his sleep apnea and feels like he's choking, so he'll startle, jump out of bed, and start yelling. It's super scary and also annoying.
7:10 and she's moving, but quiet. Not too bad, since she went to bed early due to lack of nap yesterday. Hopefully this will put us on a nice schedule.
It would've been nice to sleep in a bit myself, but the dog has been up since 6:30 pestering DH for breakfast.

We've been up late the last two nights, so we were up at a normal for us 7:30.
DH said I look nice this morning. The only thing different from my usual loungewear of leggings and large t shirt is I'm wearing my bobeau because it's chilly. I guess the bobeau is DH approved, lol.
