DS did really well, especially since he has a cold. We used a humidifier and Vicks Baby vapor rub and I think that helped. He slept from 8:-5-5:30, which would have been a miracle excluding dst. Today it's like a double miracle!
I had the best massage ever yesterday, my knee feels so much better. Great massage and I got eight hours of sleep=very happy!!
i measured dd1 today. At 3yrs 8mths she's 42.5inches tall!!!
Time change here last week. Dd2 woke at 7.45am new time the first morning and 8.40am the second morning. 8-8.30 is normal for her. This weekend she only woke at 9.30am both mornings!!!!
I was fully prepared for a 4:30-5am wake up since his new thing is getting up just barely pre-6 o'clock. (I consider anything past 6 morning and get on with my day.) he slept until 6!! that's a whole hour and a bit sleeping in for him!
L fell asleep at 7:45 last night. Woke up at 10:30, 1:30, and then for the day at 4:30. Down for a nap at 6:30, up at 7:20, back down at 10. *cries* She's still sleeping, at least, but H and I are like zombies. Her sleeping has been so horrible lately.
Wait, how does a cpap machine keep I'm from jumping up at night? I ask, because my h "does weird shit" at night. I've always attributed it to sleepwalking. Which his father does too... But maybe it's something else?
He stops breathing because of his sleep apnea and feels like he's choking, so he'll startle, jump out of bed, and start yelling. It's super scary and also annoying.
Sleep apnea scares the crap out of me. I hope he gets a new mask soon. Maybe make the thing that helps you keep breathing a priority?
Everyone in our house is okay with the time change, except me. I am irrationally angry. I'm tired, even though it was my day to sleep in, and DH is on my last nerve. I think I need a coffee break.
We had a bad night. Wake up at 1:30 for an hour until I laid next to her and then at 6:30 when I tried to put her back in the crib. Final wake up at 8.
irishbride2- up until this year I have never had a problem so I hope your good luck continues.
We kept ours up an hour later last night and DS1 and DD still woke up early. They normally get up 7:30-8 and marched into my bedroom at 6:30. DS2, on the other hand, slept until I woke him up at 8:45 (new)!
Yeah it might end. I always assume the worst so I go to bed at the normal time so in case they get up "early" (aka their normal time) then at least I get the same amount of sleep!
I have a vent. DH like Kohls' Sonoma jeans. He wears jeans every day to work. One pair ripped, so I went online to buy his size. Not in stock. A few days later they have them, but you can only order 1 pair, weird, but ok. Place order. Other pieces show, jeans don't. Kohls cancelled the jeans and never emailed me.
Went to store Friday to return some of the items I ordered online. Check men's jeans section. Looks like a tornado went through, can't find his size in the style/wash. Go online, can't even get to the page for his jeans, WTF?
Just placed another order today. I hope the jeans ship this time for DH's sake. He's a simple man with clothes, so please Kohls, just send us the jeans!
Not a pleasant night - DD normally STTN until 6:30 but was up about 3 times and I ended up sleeping in her bed while she slept with H. We all finally got up at new 6:40 and then she proceeded to puke into her scrambled eggs.
Hoping to get a good nap and then head to BBB to glider shop.

I had to LOL at this, it reminded me of Homer Simpson and his love affair with his specific pair of blue pants.
Impending motherhood is turning me to mush. As we were eating lunch, I was like, "can you believe we are having a baby?!" and then promptly burst into happy tears. I still can't believe it sometimes.
I will try to remind myself of this post when I have a baby that wakes up on 5am on Daylight Savings next year.
I'm taking the older two to Disney on Ice at 5 tonight so I'm valiantly trying my damnedest to get DS1 to nap now and he's having nothing of it. GTFTS! Gah. I neeeed him to nap or I will have an incredibly cranky boy later. There are a million things going on downtown so I really need to leave by 4 to park etc. FX he can get a solid 2 hour nap. I still haven't figured out dinner. Feeding them at 3:30 seems too early but afterwards I'm going to want to pour them into their beds, I'm assuming these things have overpriced food? Anyone?

I cannot believe that she whose sleep you can set your watch by is asleep right now at 3:10 pm. We did put her down at 1 instead of her usual 12 and she didn't fall asleep for a bit, but usually she's up at 2 on the dot.
M was up at 6:45 which is about an 1 hr earlier then normal but he was pretty good about chilling. We got him around 7:30 because we were at my parents and had to pack up to go home. Put him down for his nap at normal time so hope he is back on schedule.
With DS refusing to nap if he's overtired, I was worried about the time change. I didn't think pushing him the extra hour would work, so I split the difference and did 30 minutes. Apparently I nailed it! Him and I napped a blissful 2.75 hours. Now DH is making dinner, and DS and I are watching a movie. Life is good.

A's been off all weekend, due to the sick/two teeth coming in.
She's on nap #3 and woke up late (though she stirred at 4:00 and I went and nursed her to try and keep her asleep longer so we could sleep longer, lol). We'll see what tonight brings, as she usually goes to bed in 3 hours from now.
C colored on the fridge with crayons today. I said, "no!" and then told him no more crayons today and started putting them away. He immediately looked so remorseful and sad and started crying. He helped me clean the mess up and then said "I sorry mommy" and gave me a hug.
Broke my heart but also one of those hey, maybe we're doing something right moments.

Huh! I wonder if H, and his dad, have some kind of trigger like this. I've been harassing H to do a sleep study for YEARS. Of course, he'd need to establish care with a primary care provider first, so...
