I'm a Logan fan but think Rory wasn't interesting enough for him.
Lorelei had so much life and she was stunning. Rory was insufferable and IMO kind of plain with bad posture. She was much cuter with bangs but not "I have every man in sight tripping over themselves to be with me" hot.
I love this show. I don't care about bad acting or inconsistencies. I blindly love it and always will lol.
As far as the best guy for Rory, I don't think we met him in this show and I like to think she meets the perfect guy in her travels somewhere (because I get way too invested in shows and think of the characters as real people). But out of the 3 boyfriends she had, I liked Jess best after he got his shit together.
AB was the worst man-hugger ever. I sometimes wonder if she suffered abuse as a child because if a scene called for her to hug any man, like Richard or Luke, she was so horribly awkward.

OMG I thought I had just watched it so many times that I was making things that weren't there, but this is SO true.
I shipped Rory and Naked Guy. I'm pretty sure we learned his name at one point, but all I remember is Naked Guy.
During the later seasons H and I decided we were only watching the show for Paris, Michel, Sookie, Richard, and Emily. I was super annoyed with Rory and Lorelai by that point, but couldn't quit the secondary characters.

No love for Mama Kim?
I always said I'd watch a spin-off where Paris, Emily, and Mama Kim were all roommates. It wouldn't have made a lick of sense how they got that way, but I would have tuned in every week.

I loved Rory and Jess, but then all of the blind item/gossip about Milo being abusive to Alexis made it hard for me to watch them together on the show.

Yes, Mrs. Kim! Only didn't she basically disappear for a long time? It's been a long time since I last rewatched, but I remember thinking that she wasn't there for a lot of important stuff towards the end.

Kelly Bishop just killed it as Emily. She's the strongest character in the series, IMO.
Michel annoys me to no end. I think it's totally unrealistic that he would still have a job at the Independence or Dragonfly after how rude he is to customers and Lorelai.

Why did Lulu look so different in the end? It's like she lost a ton of weight, and she wasn't bit to begin with. I had to go back and check credits because I honestly thought they had subbed in a different actress in the last episode.

Emily just got better and better as the series went on. "Buy me a boa and take me to Reno because I'm open for business" kills me every time.

I don't think I ever noticed this.
Miss Patty was much thinner in the final season though.

This, exactly.
I just food noshed re watching season 1 on Netflix. I (heart) Gilmore Girls (although not enough to name a kid after a character).

Emily climbing out the basement window and losing her skirt and the police come. OMG.

Only prostitutes have two glasses of wine at lunch!

I need to go back and watch this.
Kírk's first date with her (and his solo run through at Luke's) is one of my favorite episodes.
This thread makes me want to go binge-watch it today.
On a separate note, I had to LOL while watching Parenthood a few seasons ago that Lauren Graham's character apparently has a thing for her kids' teachers.
I just realized that Lulu was in Jarhead. That movie was mentioned when Lorelei and Luke broke up and she threw out the camp skirt because she was wearing it when they saw jarhead. I always think it's weird when this happens.
The scenes where Rory cries make me laugh they are so bad. Especially when she's meeting with the Yale counselor in Season6.
This exactly. It was cringe-worthy, and I thought (hoped?!) when the scene ended she was going to walk out of the office like it had all been act to garner sympathy or something, because no one's actual crying is that bad.
