Everything looked good on the NST. Heading in to work now. I think this kid is just lazy.
DS failed NSTs and BPPs, even when they'd buzz him he didn't want to move and he almost looked pissed on the ultrasound. He is still pretty chill and a heavy sleeper at 6.
Question: if you like a post and then accidentally unlike it , and then go back to re-like it, does the person get notifications each time? I always feel like a moron when I do that but it happens all the time when I'm on the mobile version.

I had a dream I met up with Brie while we were both vacationing at the same place. I came to visit her hotel and little C was there and even her DH (weird). Except she was referring to herself as Barb. Then as soon as I walked in, she made me seal and address a bunch of thank you notes. When I finished, I was going to go grab DD and bring her back for a play date, but Brie's DH said he thought we visited enough and I should not return. Lol
My newborn sleeps quite a bit. Like only one MOTN wake up and long naps. I should just enjoy it while it lasts, right? I get worried, but he's gaining and growing so I guess it's all good. Yes, this is kinda a bragplaint, but I'm also curious if anyone else had a baby like this?
Ugh, daycare called and DS has been a cranky mess. They gave Tylenol for a possible tooth coming through, but he's still miserable. I hope he doesn't have whatever I have.
I totally look like death warmed over today. No reason why...........actually wearing dress clothes instead of jeans for the first time in weeks and I slept in so I have no excuse.
All the talk about bedding for 2 year olds (looking at you chickens987 is making me hyperventilate because my plan was to keep M in his crib until he is a teenager. Crib for life!
I LOVED my surfset/TRX class last night. I want to go every week. But sadly that would entail joining yet another gym which is uber expensive and not seeing M one day out our every week since I leave before he gets up and I don't have time to see him and go to the class.
That's what makes it even worse! We have no imminent plans to switch her. But I am paranoid that they'll be gone when I want them, so I bought them. Bye bye $$$.
Hugs catbus. My H had a very different (much closer) relationship with his maternal grandparents than I ever did, and we lost them both in 2011. It was super hard because he hadn't ever had to deal with that kind of loss. It's hard to support your partner and grieve too, I know, but take care of all of you.
DD is very bossy about my looks. On one hand, she's potentially right and on the other hand I want her to STFU. This morning I had bedhead when I came to get her out of her crib and she made a disgusted face and said "No Mommy hair!". She has also said this week "no mommy glasses. no like it". THANKS you little snot.

BTW, the bedding's awesome. I was considering some super cute bedding from PBK the other day (buses! giraffes! and on clearance!), but talked myself out of it. Partially because PBK drives me bonkers with their ridiculous gender BS (seriously, everything is "boy" or "girl" there). Land of Nod doesn't do that--but Land of Nod doesn't currently have any cool vehicle bedding, and vehicles are definitely what E is obsessed with right now.

Gymboree was a bust. Now I'm trying to decide if I really want the clearance stuff in my online cart or if I should save all of my gymbucks to see if the new line goes on sale tomorrow or sometime before the redemption period ends or if I should even buy anything at all. *sigh* Stupid budget making me feel guilty about buying stuff that isn't a dire need.

"Why do you want to wear the ugly shirt?"
I guess I like being frumpy, DD
E is picky about what necklace I wear. "No, that necklace, mommy!" He's a little more tactful with some things, though still probably judging a little: "Why wear glasses, mommy?"
He did want to pick out a shirt for me over the weekend. He chose my Catbus shirt (LOL, from Shirt Woot) (niq) and said, "I love love that shirt."
oceanspray 2.5 weeks. He was 9 lbs 9 oz at birth and 10 lbs 4 oz at 2 weeks. I breastfeed on demand, although I do wake him sometimes to eat if I feel like he's sleeping through a feeding.

This sounds like DS2. He eventually woke up a little more, although he's still a good sleeper. As long as he's gaining appropriately, enjoy it!

Our pedi doesn't advocate waking to feed unless the baby hasn't reached birth weight yet or has a health issue.

Same here! I am trying to do a spending freeze, but I have some gymbucks, but nothing at gymbo is really inspiring me. Waaaah.

Ohhhhh then it makes total sense. It is too freaking adorable to not get even if she doesn't use it until she is 12 like M. No brainer.
Does anyone else who's considering #2 have one of those days where the first kid STTN, you had a decent night's sleep too, nothing went horribly wrong, and yet you're somehow exhausted at 9am, at which point you think "am I bats**t insane for wanting to sign up for another one?"

I got to see my favorite OB today, the one who talks like Ryan Gosling. He did my GBS swab and was like, "hey girl, just a little swab in your vagina and on your bottom!" and I died a little. WHO SAYS BOTTOM?
H thinks that he has DD's flu bug. He's complaining about coming down with a man-cold. I don't have the patience for this, especially if I'm going to hold to the "no drinking for the month of January" thing!
unexpected day off from work. Had already dropped DD at daycare so I went to the gym, then out for donuts (cancelling out my workout), then ran some errands. Got a QT soft pretzel for lunch, yum.
Having lots of cramping yesterday and today, I'm going to take that as a sign that the clomid is working and my ovaries are getting down to business.
I've had two dreams about breastfeeding this week.

YES. I never wake up DD.
Oh and no, I didn't have a baby who slept quite that much, but you should enjoy it.

Guys, my a/s scan is tomorrow!!!! This week has been so slow and I cannot wait for it to come. We were team green with DS, but I think we're finding out. We're still undecided-procrastinators, lol!

We flew to my ILs morning and I learned two things:
-valet parking at the airport with two little ones is worth every penny. -apparently people from Haiti are experts in baby hats. Waiting for the airport shuttle, the employee there to help direct passengers said, how cute DS2 was and that she was so pleased to see him in a hat. He's 12 weeks. She explained further that she knew all about baby's relationships with hats because she was from Haiti. And that if he didn't wear a hat when it was cold out his head would grow ill proportioned to his body. Okay....
