Diane said "he" is still appropriate until he becomes she?
Damn I need an education on this. My head is spinning
It's confusing, for everyone, often even for the person in transition. And everyone is different and requests different pronouns at different times. The best thing is just to be as sensitive as possible and try to adhere to their wishes as much as possible too. I imagine he'll want to be referred to as "she" once he's chosen a new name and is further along in the process. But then again, I don't know him personally (duh) so I really shouldn't guess.
Our friend didn't start using male pronouns until he changed his name. And from that point forward it was all male pronouns and terminology.
But we were friends with the wife first and didn't really know him until after he transitioned. We sent our save the dates to our female friend and her girlfriend, but she contacted us right before we sent out our invites and told us his new name. So for us it was easy because we only knew him as a he.
It's a lot more challenging and emotional for people who are more intimately involved.
I just flipped it on for a second. My goodness. He started to transition in the 80s and stopped. I feel terribly for him that he's had to wait so long to do this.
And yes franklin this interview is actually fascinating.

God, saying that he had the story and couldn't do anything about it. How awful that he couldn't be himself.
ETA: geez, no one would leave him alone and taunted him
I have missed most of this, but it rings something for me. One of my ex boyfriends has now transitioned to a woman. She is a beautiful person and I am so proud of her. I have asked me so many times if there were signs that I missed, ways I could have helped her. She is actually now on a new tv show and seems to be happier now.

Yes, that he had something to share that would actually help someone. How hard to have to hide your true self.
I hate that Kris had "no comment". I can't help but feel that she's only concerned about how this is affecting her and her empire. Good for his other wives to show their support.
I'm pretty grossed out by that. She had a chance to prove that she has a heart and feelings, and still wouldn't say anything. Considering she is the biggest media whore alive, I think her silence about this is rather telling about her.
I wonder, though, if she didn't play dumb out of love and respect for Bruce.
It wasn't her information to share and if she just claimed ignorance, she's be hounded less?
I have no idea what she's said on this topic, though, so I could be way off base.
Are you sure you're not watching? Lol
Now that I know it wasn't all filler, I wish.
But H has a meeting tonight and K was a beast to get to sleep. He just went down and since I can't drink, I decided to eat two ice cream cookie sandwiches and crawl into bed. LOL.
I am 0% skeptical of this. I don't know how you could watch her and feel skeptical. This is very sincere.
I'm dvr'ing right now bc I'm watching Catfish (priorities, yo), but my H thinks it is all for publicity. I may be naive, but why would you announce this if it weren't true? I mean, it's not exactly accepted by everyone, and it will be met with a lot of negativity, I'm sure. I just don't see this as a publicity stunt, so I'm with you...0% skeptical.

Is it still on?
Yes. Another hour. Seriously. Turn it on. I was skeptical and turned it on like 15 minutes ago. It is really well done.
People are horrible in their transphobia. It actually reminds me of a short film I saw a few days ago. Disgusting what people do and how they treat others.
