I am 0% skeptical of this. I don't know how you could watch her and feel skeptical. This is very sincere.
I'm dvr'ing right now bc I'm watching Catfish (priorities, yo), but my H thinks it is all for publicity. I may be naive, but why would you announce this if it weren't true? I mean, it's not exactly accepted by everyone, and it will be met with a lot of negativity, I'm sure. I just don't see this as a publicity stunt, so I'm with you...0% skeptical.
And he's a celebrity bringing attention to this. And may help others.
Now I fully expect Kris to exploit this for all she can because she is so fucking vile

I'm pretty grossed out by that. She had a chance to prove that she has a heart and feelings, and still wouldn't say anything. Considering she is the biggest media whore alive, I think her silence about this is rather telling about her.
It's no surprise, look what she did to her own daughters, but it still somehow managed to shock me.

I don't think it's for publicity, but to take control of HOW it comes out and explain himself. I hope it educates people and I think that's part of the reason he's doing it too.
And I LOVE the oldest four are there showing their support.

This is not the kind thing anyone anyone would do for publicity. Sorry but that's a douchetastic statement for your H to make.
I don't know BJ's wife (Eta: just found out they are divorced, lol), but I have some compassion for a spouse who doesn't know how to feel when her partner transitions. A dear friend of mine (Ty) is FTM, and his ex (M) met and fell in love with him when he was a woman.
They stayed together all through his transition, and for a few years after, because they love and respect each other. In the end, though, M recognized that she is a lesbian, and wants to have a lesbian relationship. M married her wife two summers ago.
Their breakup has been amicable and they are still best friends, but ... Love, sexual attraction, gender, and human emotions are complicated, man.
ETA: saying "no comment, though, sucks. Even if you don't understand and feel betrayed or whatever, show some grace. If you want a divorce, fine, but why add a dose of humiliation?
People are horrible in their transphobia. It actually reminds me of a short film I saw a few days ago. Disgusting what people do and how they treat others.
I was going to say that the worst part is that they are just a small voice in a SEA of ignorant assholes. It's hard to hear people being so ugly.
ETA- My last sentence sounds weird. Obviously I have no idea how hard - just, as a bystander who doesn't understand such ugliness, it's hard to hear.
OK, I'm like tearing up about his older children - that one was really upset and that they all wanted to go on the show and show their support. I would be really fucking surprised if any of the Kardashians showed up, which is pathetic.
I'm actually really proud of Brody. He's grown up so so much and all his older kids seem to be amazing with this. I could cry that these 4 kids are responding in this way.
Who are these assholes saying this isn't true? What person, especially public, would go through this if it wasn't?

Is your H usually an asshole?
No, but he is a cynic when it comes to anything celebrity-related.
We talked about it a lot and I think I made him reconsider.

To be fair, there were many posters here who voiced they were skeptical about the interview because they worried this would not be about Bruce talking about his/her journey, but rather a vague interview in hopes of getting ratings/money. Or some people voiced they were skeptical because they were afraid Kris would be "controlling" him and it would be an interview where she guilted him into denying what is going on. (I'm trying to give the benefit of the doubt that there aren't people who would think someone is only transgender for attention/money)
I keep hearing mixed things about how the girls are reacting. Supposedly some articles say they are super supportive, and other responses are vague. Supposedly Kylie and Chloe are the most supportive.

No, I get what you're saying (or at least I think I do). It's difficult to see people being so hateful and mocking towards others, especially because it's coming from a place of fear and ignorance, something all too common, unfortunately.

Well, and I get that, but ask him how much money and recognition he would want to publicly announce he feels like he is a woman.
Being transgendered and unable to be who you are is a horrible, trapped, depressing thing. And even when you can be who you are, you're faced with hatred, animosity, and misunderstanding.
I can't imagine anyone announcing something like this for shits and giggles.

I was one who thought it would mostly be filler.
That's not the same thing as saying you think he's announcing he is transgendered for publicity.

That is pretty much exactly what I said to him, along with some other choice words.
His mind went as follows: Kardashian = money- hungry. I don't think he realized how insensitive it was for him to say it. Now, I think that he does.
