Damn bonquiqui! I kind of hate you - You were my inspiration to try to get 10k steps a day. I have done it every single day for 5 weeks, in addition to 3 days per week of weightlifting, and really cleaned up my eating. I've lost like 2 pounds. You look amazing!

Thank you so much! I love my fitbit and our gbcn group. I truly believe that my success can be attributed to the support and my charge. I started weight training last week so I REALLY need to get on the photos and measurements train.

How does one join the group? I have just been aiming for 10k every day, no matter what. And since I don't have access to a treadmill, I have done some walks in the some crappy weather!

You guys look awesome. However, I am disappointed that apparently none of you have found the "Look amazing by doing nothing pill" and that people really do just need to work out and eat healthy. :Harrumph:
But yeah, go you guys! It takes so much motivation to go to the gym and eat healthy and all that jazz.

PDQ I don't have any body shots available but this is about 40lbs lost. I got a jumpstart with gestational diabetes and following the diet. I only gained 1 lb in pregnancy and lost about 25 by giving birth. I started running in January of 2013 on my treadmill. I joined a gym this winter and I've been doing 3 hours of cardio classes, mostly zumba, per week. I need to add strength training. I've gained back around 10 pounds this year from my lowest last summer so I need to focus a bit ore but my lifestyle is quite differnt.

I have lost about 40 lbs. in the last year, but not due to anything I ever did. Everyone was always telling me I looked great, I looked so thin! My clothes fit better but that was about it so I didn't worry, and I never weighed myself. Whelp, turns out I have cancer and was losing weight because of it. I don't recommend going my way.
HOWEVER! I am still 211 lbs. I am determined to use chemo, lack of appetite, and need to keep on L-I-V-I-N to get down to a healthy (140-155ish) weight and keep it off. I joined a gym and have been eating very very healthily since my surgery in April. Not perfect by any stretch of the imagination, but I know I have to do it and I have to do it on my own. I am highly doubtful that I could be a candidate for WLS now. That is the road I always assumed I would go down...my mom and grandpa as well as MIL have all had it. I am going to do it on my own now because I have to.
All these great pics have definitely motivated me to take some of myself though, I bet I would be extremely hard pressed to find one of me at my highest. I hide from the camera like it is my job. You ladies look awesome!
Also, if you got through that book, if you are a plus size and want to feel super skinny get Ava and Ani jeans from Target. Their vanity sizing has me in a 16. I wasn't even a 16 when I was 180 in college.

I chose the 4 in the collage because they are all in the same shirt, I think the sleeves and muffin top show the biggest difference. It was over the course of one year, in the two years before that I lost about 25 pounds, this was the last 5. The one in the dress was May of 2012, and I'm in the brown in the group shot, it was October of 2009, pretty close to my heaviest. Pdq, I'll delete for privacy in a bit. *poof* because of other people in the picture.

Can you add me too bonquiqui, seriously, you are my inspiration!
I feel a little fraudulent posting this because my after is not my current self. Struggling with making good eating/exercising choices post partum. This thread has been inspiring to get back to my 'after'!
Before: (about 250 lbs, but I didn't really weigh myself at first because I didn't want to face it)

Green dress picture is a year old. Black dress is from March of this year. Down 50 pounds, I need to exercise to tighten up and lose the last bit. I was a size 18 when I started my job 3 years ago and am now a 10/12. I can honestly say that I would be okay staying at my current size--I like how clothes hang on me. PDQ
