Speaking of OB salaries, I just googled my doctor's name after learning her H was a surgeon and knowing they live in a nice part of the city. They bought their rowhouse for ~1.5M 9 years ago. Nosy party of 1.
I did this to my boss after he bought a house. He was always complaining about how he's underpaid (he's gov't so I could see his salary. STFU dude, you make BANK) and couldn't afford the house they *really* wanted. LOL to that. Over $1.5m SFH. I really want to know what his wife makes, though.

This is the kind of thing I would do. Could you just please move to NY already so we can have our weekly girls' nights out?

I do things like this all the time.
Also, the court records website is a gold mine. LOL
Why does Curious George sometimes live in the city and sometimes live in the country? Is it their summer home or something? @supergreen. First half of the episode was donuts in the city, second half is grape juice on the rug in the country.
DD is fighting us on EVERYTHING right now. Such a PITA.
Yes it's their summer/vacation home, I'm pretty sure it's the home the man with the yellow hat grew up in. I love the country house episodes.

Are you asking logic questions about a monkey captured from the wild and living with a clueless dude who wears the same thing every day? lol
lol, I have more than one coworker who wear the same thing every day. Ironically, for both it's black pants and a short sleeve white button down shirt.
He is now distributing it to everyone else seated around us. Acai! Blueberry! It's the equivalent of 4 Advil with no side effects! My wife has lost 2 lbs a week!!!
I feel like I'm going to regret today. We woke up at 5AM to say goodbye to H. Now I'm going to herd the kids on to the bus, go to the UPS store, Target, the farmers market and then story time at the library. This seems like a recipe for disaster. Oh well.
We got some local ones at the farmer's market on Saturday and they were amazing! So much better than the Californian ones we can get at the grocery store.

I love it when H is off. After my epic sleep in, I parented for a whole hour before putting L down for a nap. L napped for 90 minutes while H went to get a few groceries and got the oil changed in my car. When L woke up, H took him out for a walk, to the post office, and to watch the traffic (L's favourite thing these days!). I'm sitting here by myself in a quiet house. Heaven!
DH sent me a text that he doesn't think DD1 saw him wave as he drove away due to the condensation on the window where she was standing. I hope she saw him as she has been super clingy since we brought DD2 home last week.
Speaking of DD2, I never did a post on her birth story. Maybe I will do that today.
Also, I burnt my bagel. Did I mention that buying a bagel pack from Panera and freezing everything prior to DD2's birth was one of my smarter decisions? Fresh bagels every morning. And this is why I still have 30 pounds to lose after the kid was removed from my body.
Still not well enough to do any actual nesting but at least I don't want to die.
My therapist was able to move our appointment to this morning so we had a good session and then I got an iced coffee and a bagel. Now I'm watching The Bachelorette and then I'm going to take a nap.
For the curious - I did not take the Unisom last night. The laxative did its job and that was gross and painful. I almost wish I slept through it.
I just drove 5 miles with my cell phone jammed in the wedge between the top of the car and the sliding door on the minivan. This was after a tearful meltdown at homegoods as the manager tried to help me find it.
Interesting fact from CE: more than one person in our local board has been captured on camera "doing things they shouldn't" in the past few years. The lady behind me said it was someone having sex in a listed house. LOLOLOL!!

I am getting jimmy johns for lunch. I can't wait. I want to bring ds to Inside Out tonight, but my h may need to work late and won't be home for DD. Boo.

Electricity back on! I guess I was using too many electronics at once and threw the big breaker in the apartments basement. I was running the dishwasher, washer, dryer, air conditioner and then plugged in my hair dryer. I guess the hair dryer was the last straw ;-)
I painted DD's toes for the First time today...so cute.

We have our first Music Together class. DS is being a total 3 year old and not cooperating getting ready. I hope he behaves in class. With him and DD together if he doesn't listen we won't be able to do this.
Was so nice catching up with chickens & marshmallows!
Picked up J from school and he was asleep within 10 minutes of getting home.
One of the nannies at school pickup complimented me on my weight loss. Totally motivated to do my workout now. Glad my half hearted workout attempts are paying off!

DS is obsessed with traffic. Daycare is on a main road, so we stand there and watch the traffic go by each night before getting in the car to leave. His favorites are getting to see a BUSSSSSS or motorcycle.
Then when we get home, either DH or I will start dinner and the other will bring DS to the end of our road. There is a fire station across the street, so he gets to watch the trucks pull in in and out. We do this so often that the guys recognize him and will specifically turn on the lights and sirens when they see DS is watching. He loses his mind when they start waving at him, yelling 'BYYEEEE! BYEEEE! BYE BYE TRUCKS!!'
I often wonder what the neighbors or random passerbys think of me that this is how I keep my child entertained.
