Up to this point I was kinda meh on everyone. But Hillary impressed me. I don't know if she'll bring about ALL the change we need, but she clearly knows how to play the game. And unfortunately, we need someone like that.

Not really a change, but I will say that as a supporter of Bernie Sanders since April.... Clinton went Street Fighter on him when it came to gun control. She hit the jackpot on it, thats how much she won that topic with me.

It intensified my dislike for BS. And the dude who said he shouldn't be held accountable for his vote because his dad died and he was new went from being a likeable nobody to being a not a chance in hell nobody.
HRC kicked ass and proved she has the chops to be president. Not a shift for my thinking exactly but and intensifying of my passion for her.

I did like Bernie more after this. He still feels like he has one policy for everything and I didn't get more record/experience info, but his passion and financial plans sound solid and achievable.
But I really felt fired up by Clinton and more excited. I feel like she won the debate since she was so knowledgable and relaxed. Man, a Bernie or O'Malley VP to HRC would be great.
O'Malley surprised me - I knew so little and liked him. Chaffee cracked me up, but not bc he meant to. That other dude killed someone in the Marines.
It reminded me that Webb and O'Malley exist and I hate Webb (why did he seem like a good idea to me in 2006 in VA?!) and actually like O'Malley. Refreshed my LOVE of HRC and confirmed my MEH about Bernie.
A greater appreciation and respect for Bernie Sanders.
And an unyielding support for my party.
Perfectly stated. DITTO.
ETA: Ummmm, according to CNN's FB poll 75% of formerly undecided voters swung toward Sanders, as a result of tonight's debate. "Sick of the damn emails" (ish, sorry, you know the line!) was decidedly the winning line among them.

Yes!
Two hours of substantive discussion about real issues. It was amazing.
After this, I'm really wondering why people thing six debates is not enough. Maybe it's not enough if your people throw feces instead of talking about real things. But when you show up with actual ideas and actually talk about them, you don't need 20 hours of airtime to sell yourself.
A greater appreciation and respect for Bernie Sanders.
And an unyielding support for my party.

I do not believe any of these online polls!!! They are in no way scientific. Consider them click bait.
I think I have the same opinion as before. Based on their voting records, I would be delighted to vote for either Clinton or Sanders.
I've never heard Sanders speak before and I was pleasantly surprised. I didn't expect to like him so much.
Clinton did well. She laughed a lot, even when people were making fun of her. There was one moment where I was half listening and she answered a question about regulating the banking industry. It sounded like she wants fewer regulations yet she was claiming that they would cover the industry better? Her answer seemed off to me.
I couldn't stay up for the BLM question, but I guess HRC didn't really answer it? .
I think she out paced the dudes by a mile and those 3 other dudes need to pack up their bags and go home.
I don't think she got the direct question on that. She got a sort of different question. So, she didn't dodge, but I don't think she got the question as directly as, say, Bernie Sanders, who knocked that question out of the park.

I really liked O'Malley a lot. I knew little about him but will be looking a lot more closely and researching him quite a bit. Chafee and Webb were awful and I predict they'll be out of the race shortly.

H said he really wasn't happy with either HRC or Bernie. They're too old in his mind. He is strongly looking at Marco Rubio. That's what I get for marrying an independent.
It's tough. I went in liking both Bernie and Hillary, slightly favoring Bernie. I can't deny that HRC was very impressive and it increased my opinion of her, although I should have expected that.
I'm about the same on O'Malley.
I would not vote for Webb if he were the nominee. I'm disappointed Lincoln Chafee didn't get to bring up his plan for converting to the metric system.
It didn't really change my mind, but it was a refreshing change from the Republican debates. I thought Anderson Cooper did a really good job.
I've gone back and forth on Clinton because there are things I don't like about her - like with the emails, it's not so much that I care about that, it's more the stupidity of the general Clinton shadiness - but seeing her in action always makes me forget what I don't like. I've been impressed with her campaign from the start; she's in it to win it. She was also very likable last night.
I was feeling very meh about the election, but I'm simultaneously happier and sadder. Happier that we saw a pretty good debate. Sad that we probably won't even really have that for the general or even two reasonable options.
At the end of the day, I'm still where I was before the debate. I may not agree with HRC on everything but I think she's qualified and will do a good job, which is more than I can say for pretty much every other option.
It boosted my support of both HRC and O'Malley. It took away some of the shine that I had put on Sanders. It confirmed that neither Webb nor Chaffee could or should be the nominee.

Ditto most of the PP - reminded me why I'm a party loyalist & upped my support for HRC. I like Bernie's ideas, hope he will push HRC to the left a bit, but didn't like her personality & know he'd never get elected (IMO). Didn't know anything about other 3 guys & just confirmed that they aren't impressive at all.
I'm still flabbergasted that people are now enamoured with O'Malley! I seriously wanted to take a quick cat nap everytime he spoke plus he kept needling HRC. I would be shocked shocked at an O'Malley VP slot.
Even though I have a greater respect for Bernie now I do totally agree with everything said here. He did not come across as presidential material at all, especially as compared to HRC. Many responses involved "starting a revolution" which WILL NOT win you the WH. I believe in his ideals and I believe he believes in them too. But I am a progressive "who wants to get stuff done" and HRC nailed that idea. Nailed it!
Nope, I still think HRC is the candidate more likely to get nominated. I enjoy listening to Sanders, but he would do horribly in the election. He doesn't look presidential, he looks old and vulnerable. The optics alone pretty much ensure he would never win.
I was a big Bernie fan, but I am now switching back to HRC. Here is the thing, I WANT what Bernie wants, BUT, his approach seems to be to burn shit down and start over. I don't think that is feasible. There are things I don't like about Hillary, but I believe she can play the game and get shit done. I don't think she will get as much done as I want, and I don't think she will do as much for the class divide as I think we need, but I think she is right for the job as of now.
I think I would have been all for Bernie burning shit down when I was angry after Bush, but Obama (with all his faults) has turned some things around. I'm not as angry. I am okay with smaller steps to get where we need to go.
