Got the bathroom painted and H had a successful morning with two kids on his own. E even took a bottle for him! She refused the last one we tried, of course the one she took was the bottle that came with the Spectra- not one I can easily buy more of in the store. I'm debating between chilling on the sofa more & possibly napping, and working on Lane's kid table and chairs that I'm "hacking."
That's the nipple DD likes best too. We use it with other bottles and the spectra bottles stay with the pump.

H cleared out the bathroom to sand and put everything on the media room table. I didn't realize that included my razor until dd grabbed it. I thought we were all good and put it away and then 60 seconds later she goes "mommy what's this" holding up her blood covered hand she sliced the top of her finger really good and it's bleeding like crazy. I wrapped it tightly for now and we will check it in an hour or so.
H, who is the king of deflection, actually took responsibility which was a surprise. He feels appropriately remorseful.
I posted on a thread about refugees on FB. They were asking for organizations to donate to. I recommended Carry the Future, which brings used and new donated carriers to refugee families. The woman who runs it commented back to me and said that she had handed out 10 carriers for me today. (heart) I'll just be over here crying. I wish I could do something about this horrible situation. I think I'm going to send in my Ergo. Just a small gesture, but it is something. We have no money to be donating right now.
DD2 is almost at the weight limit, and I haven't used it in at least six months. We are done having babies. It has been through both of my kids and three kids that I've nannied, so it's sad to let it go, but the thought of a family in need using it makes me feel happy.

Can you post or PM me more info on this? I think I'm done with ours too, and in fact just this afternoon mentioned to my husband listing it on Craigslist, but I like your idea better.

Sure! Here is the address that the carriers should be sent to. 121 W. Lexington Dr. Ste. L 106D Glendale, CA, 91203
Here is their Indiegogo page and their FB page. The Indiegogo page is primarily for their other organization, Operation Refugee Child, but I figured I'd post it anyway.
