we have a fun day planned today! Music class this morning and Disney Fairy Tales live on stage this afternoon. Fingers crossed that DD will nap early between them so she's not a mess during the show.
I'm going to try and go to the opening of the HA store today and hope they still have free pajamas by the time I get there. DS barely slept last night, so he'll probably be a crying, overtired mess. Should be fun.
Ds was up at 5:45, over an hour early. Wtf. He is going to be a mess and I'm annoyed I lost out on an hour of sleep. He's whining/crying at his gate now bc his light isn't green yet. Yeah dude you are supposed to be sleeping for another 45 min!
Completely normal to be freaked out about TTC#2, right?
We're going away for the weekend without DS (first time!) and everyone's teasing me about coming back with a little souvenir. I mentioned that to DH last night and he said that would be fine with him. Say what?? I thought our plan was to wait until January as an August baby is really not ideal given my field (education). But, it took nearly 2 years to conceive DS, so I'm not sure why I'm convinced it would be a one shot deal here! We should just stick to our plan of having a nice weekend away and I should relax about the details, right??
Today's my day to buy the bagels at work. This means I had to get up early and am on the early train. DH has to bring M to daycare. The reverberations of me being in the bagel club are more than expected.
But I'm super psyched for a warm everything bagel with veggie cream cheese.
Just finished my cheesecake breakfast. We have nothing planned today. I'm thinking I'll run at the gym and then maybe go to the open gymnastics area with the boys for a while. Then maybe head to the museum for a bit till DD is home from school? I should go to the grocery but eh. Maybe after the two years old's nap.
We have visitors tomorrow and I need to get some things handled around here but I think it's best that I try and wear the boys out and work on it while they nap.
My friend that went in for an induction Tuesday has got have had her baby by now, right?!?

Gym this morning- I'm planning on biking for a half hour, so long as my undercarriage can handle it. Lol. I think it will be okay. After saying thank you unprompted yesterday, this morning L asked to sit in a regular chair at breakfast instead of his high chair. My baby is so big!
So last night was going to be the "big night" because I was cleared by my doctor for normal activity. We passed out. In good news though the baby slept the longest stretch ever and I got more sleep than I have gotten in a really long time.

DS2 has ear tube surgery today. I got him up a bit early this morning hoping I could nurse him right at the cutoff for liquids and put him down for a nap to kill some of the time that he can't eat. So far, so good.
H is off today so he's taking DD to preschool, staying to workout at the gym there, then bringing her home. Which means I am sitting alllllllll alone in this house from 8:30 until 12. What to do, what to do.
We tried to figure out medical insurance last night and I am so over it. Why don't companies list their drug formulary and prices for NON-members. H takes three medications daily and one is usually a tier 3/4, which usually means $$$. That will make a big difference in who we choose but we don't know the prices for 5 out of the 8 we are looking at.
I took one of my dogs to the vet last night and he needs to have pretty much all his teeth removed. I feel like a terrible doggy mom. But at the same time I'm not thrilled about spending so much money.
Noooooooooo Any idea what's causing it? Or do you just have really bad luck with yeast? Thrush sucks. I'm sorry.
I don't know! It came back then I thought it was gone, and now DD has it in her mouth. Uggggghhhhhhh.
Ugh. That's the worst. I got it by not realizing DD had a yeast rash under her chin rolls (#chubbybabyproblems) so at least once the pedi confirmed that, I knew where it started and got the rash cleared up while we were on meds for thrush.
I hope you can both get it treated and kicked for good now.
dd2 has a fever again. looks like a day of cartoons in pjs. it's tempting not to take dd1 to school either but double the whining all day might kill me.

My parents were supposed to come hang out with DS for a few hours today. I was really looking forward to some time to get errands done since H has been out of town all week and I've been solo parenting. Well my Dad just called and said he's sick so they can't come. Not really sure how my Dad being sick affects my Mom's ability to come, but whatever. So not really sure what we'll end up doing today...
Today is my last day of solo parenting, thank god. I am sooo tired of doing bedtime by myself lol
I hate bedtime alone! It's the worst part. After 6 weeks of doing bedtime by myself every night H is finally back to working normal hours and has been home for bedtime. It's so amazing!
They've identified norovirus patient 0 at daycare. Apparently they brought the kid in lethargic and pale and then 6 hours later on the dot spiked a fever. So they brought him in drugged. Wasn't that nice of them!

Dude. I hope they get kicked out for that. Not cool, parents.
DS is back to school after his minor bout of HFM. He really should have gone yesterday (no fever, mild case had clearly already peaked before we even noted it), but in true DH form he didn't ask for a note from the Pedi to clear us (despite my direct instruction to) so, meh. I kept him home.
Went to the mall to buy soaps/candles at B&BW and Santa was already there. DS lost his mind! No line, so I offered to take him (not ideal for pictures, but I am a Santa person, so I'll encourage the excitement) and DS got scared about 3 ft from Santa so just stood there and yelled "I WANT A TWAIN!" and refused to interact further. lol
