Yes.
One time I was taking W for a walk in the stroller on a day where we had a break from the HOT Texas weather. It was windy and I thought, "Hmmm. I think it's too cold to go to the pool today." Got home and checked the weather. 88. It was 88 and I thought it was too chilly for the pool. That's when I knew I was fully acclimated to TX.

I am laughing at this. I start sweating outside when it hits 75. I just looked it is a high of 85 here today and we are going to the pool after nap. Is this like a dry heat versus the humidity of a city built on a fucking swamp thing?

Omg I don't even want to leave the air-conditioned house when it's 88 lol. And I always thought kids looooved the pool regardless of temperature (at least all the crazy kids in my family). It's like 80 outside now and I'm about to die just weeding the garden. Pool is next!
My personal rule is 90+, but 88 is close enough, I'd probably swim. I just haaaate getting out of the water when there's any cool breeze. My kids will swim if it's over 75 or 80 out.
(I'm in texas so I don't have to worry about a high of 88 again until at least October. Lol)

When I was a lifeguard (and as a kid) if it was 75* or higher, the pool was open. 88* is perfect pool weather, if it wasn't going to storm today I'd be at the pool!
We used to go swimming in the Pacific ocean off the Oregon coast (so cold water) in 60 degree weather as long as it was sunny and not windy. My mom didn't do wind + sand.
