Stop paying attention to the signs, people! The Hillary campaign hasn't focused on yard signs at all but she still gets the votes. Remember all the visible support for Bernie that translated to what, some 2 million more votes for Hillary? Trump voters are loud and in your face while a decent segment of Hillary voters are legitimately afraid of being "out" about their support for her. This election is ugly and the rhetoric espoused by the Trump campaign definitely makes me uncomfortable with putting out signs or having a magnet on my car - and I'm not even in an area where there's a huge amount of visible support for Trump, so I can only imagine what people in other areas feel like.
Also, truth be told, it was just how I was raised. My parents kept their political opinions to themselves for the most part, although they were quite passionate, because their jobs were of the type that visible politicking was discouraged.
My H always says "yard signs don't vote."
I see the opposite in my community. There are far more bumper stickers, yard signs, and large signs in undeveloped lots for Hillary and the county Democrats with very little for Trump but as much as I wish and hope that my state and county go blue I'm not optimistic. While I may live in a fairly diverse area of town it's still an UMC white flight suburb in Texas with a lot of deplorables who may not be dumb or brazen enough to publicly show their racist asses.
Hahaha. PA last went blue in 1988 to elect George HW Bush, but like the whole country did that too, so...
The Western PA blue collar white people are really throwing me off though. Even scarier are the Scrantonians; those guys went blue in 2012, and they seem to be trending Trump this year. But Trump voters are less likely to vote in general, so it's a really hard thing to work into a poll correctly.
However. Trump has cratered completely with Philly and the populous Philly suburbs. Not even Ivanka can save him there. Or Melania (she's giving a speech in the Philly burbs on Thursday).
Given the polling lead HRC has now, I feel comfortable with PA, and I'm more than happy for Trump to waste his time there. I trust that HRC's data operation is far more robust than is Trump's. They flat out told interviewers that their numbers look like 538's, so why they'd send him to Colorado, New Mexico, Pennsylvania, and Michigan is just beyond me.
I'm still nervous about PA. I'm in the Philly 'burbs, which everyone is saying is totally wrapped up for Clinton. Yet, on my 6-mile drive to work each day I see probably 20 Trump signs and less than half as many Clinton signs. And the more I drive around the more noticeable the discrepancy is. There is a lot of Trump support here, even though news articles keep claiming that there isn't. And we have no early voting, so everything hinges on GOTV efforts on the 8th.
I'm feeling good about PA, I live in the suburbs of Philly, and she has held a strong lead in the counties that make a difference (Chester, Bucks, Montgomery & Delaware). The Western counties always go red and don't have nearly as much impact.

I'm in northern Chester County and while I see a lot more Trump signs than Hillary signs, I'm not worried. I grew up in eastern Chester County and still work there. Trump is the butt of jokes in my office. I can't see him winning anywhere but the far north of the county. We'll pull it off for her just fine.
I really think most Hillary supporters just aren't bothering to put up a sign. Around here, if you're not actively campaigning for Trump, people will assume you're voting for her.

Two updates for today:
HRC is going back to the "Trump is terrible for women" argument. Alicia Machado will rally with her in FL, and she released an ad of Trump's words about women (including the "grab 'em by the..." thing).
HRC holds rallies within walking distance of early voting locations. Obama did the same. MEANWHILE...
Few thoughts on GOTV and ground game – as it's the buzz of the day. A case study to illustrate how Trump, for all his talk, has none. Sunday Trump was in Vegas. The campaign planned to have buses take supporters to early vote location after rally. Now if Trump campaign actually was smart, they would've held event within walking distance of early vote location, but besides the point. Anyway, so yeah – Trump had supporters in a single place; plan ready to go. What happens? Buses don’t show up. After confusion, buses finally show up. But less than two dozen people actually go and vote after Trump rally. Bottom line: Trump holds rally in Vegas – which has zero impact on early voting, the sole purpose of the event. A lesson always taught in GOTV 101: a vote from an enthusiastic voter counts the same as a vote from a non-enthusiastic voter. Dem efforts to get people to make a voting plan aren't bunk - they actually work! Trump campaign GOTV efforts are amateur hour. - Matt McDermott

Scott Walker, this does not mean what you think it means...
(I scrolled like thirty comments down and couldn't find one that was unsupportive of HRC. Everyone was like, "thanks, I did!" and "I loved the past 8 years!" and "I love that we have marriage equality and healthcare!")

This is one of the reasons I'm so tired of stories about people not being enthusiastic about Clinton. They have their place, and her administration will certainly need to look at why people weren't enthusiastic and continually try to engage constituents. But from a pure horse race standpoint, I DGAF if someone is unenthusiastically casting a vote for Clinton. The ballot doesn't measure enthusiasm!
