And here's a chart showing how these 10 candidates have done so far, percentage wise, in all of our polls that allowed people to pick more than one candidate they like:
I’m not a Warren fan. She’s fine and I’ll vote for her if she’s the nominee (donate and campaign too, I’m sure) but she just doesn’t connect for me and I’m tired of boomers. I think she’s well qualified and would do a good job, but I can say that about a decent number of candidates so she’s not my choice. If it’s down to her and Biden and Bernie, she’s my choice. But I really would like a non-boomer. They’ve had their time and I’m tired.
I’m irritated he hasn’t done well, and all he's getting from last night is “how dare you” from everyone. Biden’s performance was his best one, but he still had really bad answers that should be addressed. Instead, he’s busy being rolled in bubble wrap to protect him from the meanies.
Still would be very upset if Warren or Saunders wins the nomination. Of course, I would vote for them over Trump, but I would hate to have to do so.
Why would you be upset with Warren? She’s not my favorite either but I thought she was beloved?
She's so beloved everyone gets the damned vapors whenever someone points out she does not always excite folks beyond the party base.
I like Warren a heck of a lot. I really do. If she got the nod, I'd happily and delightfully vote for her.
I just don't think for one hot second she'll beat trump in purple leaning states. I think to them she sounds like a lower calorie version of Bernie Sanders.

I generally like Castro, but I do also think he took it just a weeee bit too far yesterday. When you make folks feel sorry for Biden, you have jumped the shark :-)
I think I am fully embracing Cory as my third choice. I have always liked him. I thought he did great last night and I enjoy him every time he talks.
Although once I read an article about him and his energy level sounds like a hyped up chihuahua lol. I am glad he has found a way to control that a bit.

Kamala got the same "meanie" push back though. When you go after the person at the top of the polls, the danger is that a large percentage of people LIKE that person. But how else can you knock them down a peg? It's a delicate balance.

My H asked me last night who I would pick between Buttigieg and Klobuchar and I was like, "...ehhhh." Pete has a lot of quips that are meant to go viral, or at least to connect with people, but I still don't know what his policies are. Amy has the issue with her staff that I still am not over, plus she's the moderate woman candidate. There are pluses and also a lot of minuses to both. Both are quite competent and would be much better than any Republican, not just Trump, but still.
Yang went WAY down in my book last night after that charter school fiasco. Thank u next.

Sure, I cringed a little. But isn’t it what EVERYONE is thinking? Would it have been better if he “politely” said he’s just not fit? Booker basically said the same thing after the debates, sort of defending Castro and he also got pushback for insinuating such a thing.
Plus, what he was arguing wasn’t wrong. They both talked past each other but he wasn't wrong in his point.

She did, and I actually think it was unfairly given to her. Castro just got too damned heated, lost his cool a bit, and it showed.

I reeeaaalllyyyy wish Buttigieg would go run for a House Seat, or hell a Senate seat, get a little bit more time in the saddle on a national level, then come back in 4 years. I'd be much more comfortable with him then.
Yeah, Klobuchar got the rep for being a "bad boss." I just keep thinking, "This would trip no man up in an election ever ever ever." We have elected like, the worst boss in history. And he's still there. Of the two I'd pick her.
Yang is such a schtick. I'm weirdly annoyed he didn't wear a tie :-). He is all foam and no beer.

Booker and Buttigeig are creeping up for me. Harris and Castro are still my top but I'm not sure if that 3rd spot goes to Warren, Booker, or Buttigeig.

Kamala Harris is a Baby Boomer too.
Biden isn't even a Boomer, he's part of the Silent Generation.

Warren does not excite me. I can’t figure out why. It seems she is the top choice of everyone I know. Im concerned she won’t be able to compete with Trump when they are head to head. She’s one of many great candidates but why does she seem like the runaway favorite? I just don’t get it. That said she is consistently in my top 3. And I will stake her sign in my yard happily when that day comes.

Just say you want someone under 70.
Okay but Kamala is one year off gen x. And I actually want someone under 61 which is my mom’s age and she’s one of the younger boomers. Which I’ve said before.

Kamala Harris isn't a baby boomer! She's 54. To me, she's an older Gen X.
What's the Oregon Trail equivalent for the Boomer/Gen X line? That's what she is.

I like Warren a heck of a lot. She seems prepared, professional, and truly interested in getting ish done. I'm not convinced her healthcare idea is the best, but at least she HAS one, and its a start.
That being said, I do not see anything about her that will make the people who stayed home in 2016 in OH, MI, WI, NC, VA, NV, AZ and the other purple leaning states come out for her. I....just don't.
I'll absolutely vote for her if she is the nominee. But she scares me against Trump.

I honestly do think people will vote for Warren. I don't really line up with her on a lot of policies, but I find her so likable and endearing that she has become a top choice for me anyway even though I align better with other candidates. She has unexpectedly charmed me.
