1confused1 - I'm super curious what a local business has to do with TSA Precheck.
I'm guessing it's something like how you can get TSA Precheck at Staples.
You CAN? Damn. That's cool.
My interview was 6 years ago so the details are fuzzy. I think I maybe went to a tax preparation place, but was under the impression that the space was just being used by the official people so not actually connected to the tax preparation company.

That’s pretty much the same as the place where I went. They “host” the TSA precheck and, while that isn’t his actual business, it is a direct reflection of it and I am sure he receives some financial compensation for being a “host”.
My H keeps losing things, mainly cash. He lost $200 last week, $65 today, $30 a few weeks ago.
He has always been scatter brained because he is doing too many things at once and not paying attention, but this is worse than normal. I don't know wtf is going on, obviously it is frustrating to lose money (especially when he literally takes it out of the bank and misplaces it in the same day!).
I am also a little worried. He has been feeling off and had two strokes before the age of 40...he needs to get himself checked out again or wear a fanny pack or something.
Ours are $15 per ticket. And trying to get the 11 tickets we need for all the family members we need together not in the back row when they go on sale (they sell out for all but the last 2 rows within minutes of going in sale) is like the hunger games. Oh, we do get 2 free tickets per family actually though.
omg you have 11 family members going to a recital? Sounds like H's family lol. Everyone goes to everything.
This is my family. Any event for DS and my parents and brother are in tow. Downside of being the only grandchild.

The smoke alarms went off (damn DH) and terrified my child, but I'm impressed by his fire safety knowledge lol. While on the verge of tears, DS screamed "Mommy find the nearest exit!"
We are back in the US and I am exhausted! It is like 3am where we came from and we still have an hour drive to get home. I hope there is no traffic - it's going to be a struggle!
Really regretting that we have to work tomorrow. It's unavoidable with only 15 vacation days - I am not going to use one to sit at home - but I know it's going to be rough
No doubt this is more flameful than random, but...I take weekly pictures of my kids. I have since their birth. They will be 13 and 9 this year.
I'm horrible at sitting down to upload them, but I have, historically, posted them to Facebook. Usually in 3-month bursts. I make a photobook of each kid's pictures each year.
Additionally flameful: in all of the years doing this, we have never repeated an outfit. Well, once, DS re-wore a shirt and I didn't catch it until the next week. Still.
But also, I'm stopping the pictures this year. We're just doing it until their birthdays, then we're wrapping up the tradition.
My dad was diagnosed with cancer just before my oldest (their first grandchild) was born and chemo several states away got in the way of all the new baby visiting and helping my parents had planned to do. So to help them feel a little more involved, we took daily photos of DD1 and texted them to our family chat and they loved it. It made for the cutest book of her first year too.

I say keep it going cereal K but I may also be at least a handful of hours into a Girl Scout slideshow for bridging tomorrow, sooooo 🤪

I think we’re all kind of done with it, and I imagine it will only get harder to convince my almost-13-year-old to play along.
Also, I feel a lot of pressure to have them in a new shirt/outfit each week. It was easy when they were little and constantly growing out of things, but now that they’re bigger and not changing sizes as often it’s getting expensive.

I’ve been watching Love and Death on HBO and kept having this nagging feeling that it seemed familiar. It was not until the 4th episode that I realized it was about the same case as Candy from Hulu last year.
When will my kid stop acting like an ass in restaurants? He's almost 7. We went out to eat with my parents after his t-ball game. Probably a mistake after all day in summer daycare and then a game, plus we didn't really bring anything to entertain him besides restaurant crayons, but he was just so annoying the whole time. Taking the knife and stabbing it in the air, then getting mad when I took it away from him, repeatedly getting up, not sitting still, just being very...uncivilized, lol. I would except this from a younger kid but feel like we should be growing out of this?

I’m slow.
We almost did the same!! There’s just too much shit out there, it gets very confusing lol.
Ok douche, go ahead and call it mud. My husband DID have halitosis. We addressed it after I talked to you girls on here and guess what? Years later, no problem. Mofongo, you're a cunt. Eat shit. ~anonnamus

This would be devastating to my household right now. How can someone lose $300 and not be stressed. I would take away his debit card and make him go to credit. No one needs cash that often anymore.

Yeah I would have flipped. Why is he getting so much cash out?

I knew it was too good to be true with DS sleeping. Tonight has been pure hell. He needs structure and that did not happen today. He is out of school and we do not have solid daycare. Plus, DD is gone to sleep away camp. It’s nearly 1 and he’s awake. He had a panic attack around 10. His stimming is so bad. He chewed a hole in his shirt today. Never mind the chew necklace he had on. 🤦🏻♀️
SPD and OCD can go fuck off. This is not how people should live. My heart hurts when he has a setback. It makes it more clear that he may never live on his own.
What does he think of all that lost money? I would definitely have him get medically checked so he can be treated right away.
If he didn't have that health history, I'd fear he was hiding something like a gambling addiction (or a girlfriend/boyfriend) from you.
He found some of it today in an unexpected place and was genuinely confused/worried that he didn't remember putting it there. Yay for found money, but omg he is losing his mind.
I also suspect he has ADHD, which he swears he was tested for as a kid but anyone who knows him agrees with me.

Our mortgage company gave us an amazing rate but they are one location and don't have online banking, so he pays them in person.
We have no credit access right now, when he went through his medical stuff (2 strokes, one of which went to his central retinal vein and caused him to go blind) we took on a ton of debt to get him to the best Drs and for his 1k/shot treatments. It fucked us over financially but he's alive...gotta love our healthcare system
Overall we are fine, good cash flow and have plans to pay down our debt and rebuild savings, but we both work our butts off to do it.
Also the second stroke he had happened right in the middle of an argument, so I can't even yell at him anymore.
