Depends on the season. We have way more laundry in the summer. I have no idea what the hell my kids do to get so damn dirty. I normally make them Wear jeans twice before laundry. In the summer ain’t no way,
"Hello babies. Welcome to Earth. It's hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It's round and wet and crowded. On the outside, babies, you've got a hundred years here. There's only one rule that I know of, babies-"God damn it, you've got to be kind.”
4-5 loads a week for two adults and a toddler. 1-2 of our clothes, 1 for the toddler's stuff, 1-2 of towels/rags, and 1 of bedding (this one is usually every other week).

Usually 4: sheets and towels make for 2, plus 1 of grown up clothes and 1 of toddler clothes/bedding. We have a slightly smaller washing machine than is standard in the US, fwiw, so sometimes it's 5 if we have too many grown up clothes for 1 load.

One load a day of our clothes and several loads a week for our bedding and towels. So essentially 2 loads a day on average. DD is a swimmer and goes thru towels at each practice, they are soaked and won't dry out in time. Family of 5.

two adults, one child...usually 3-4, sometimes 5. I wash my H and kid's clothes together (also my socks, underwear, pjs, etc) usually split into two loads. Then I wash my work and daily wear clothes separetly to line dry. Then typically a load of towels, sheets, blankets of some sort maybe every other week. My kid is 5 and still wears mostly toddler sizes so her clothes are small. I'm sure when she gets a little older we might have to add another load.
3 people, I would say 5-6 loads? We do towels and linens every weekend, random throw rugs or blankets and jackets monthly/as needed, then our regular clothes as soon as the basket is full, which is usually every other day.

Kids-1 Husband- 1-2 Me- 3-4 Plus towels, sheets, etc. so ten ish?
I wear tooo many outfits a day. Workout clothes, work clothes, come home from work and want something comfy and not gross from kid germs, plus pajamas….. it’s too much!
Smug MLer: “They’re so small, I just toss them in with everything else.”
Me, crying over the amount of washcloths for just one person in a 3 person household: “Those bitches don’t know MY LYFE”
The most annoying part of washcloths is people grab a new one but dont pull the one that was hanging to dry in the shower out of the shower so it gets wet again. And then you have 2 WET washcloths. rinse and repeat until the pile becomes a stack of 7 wet, molding washclothes.
I separate the same - Dark darks Mediums Reds Whites Towels Sheets/blankets Baseball pants (1-2x/wk March-October depending on how many games/practices he had. He has 4 pairs so I don’t have to wash after each.)
Anytime I consider dividing by person I realize we’d just be doing a a lot of partial loads.
I have a washer/dryer in the house and do a load of laundry most days or at least 4x/week - my own stuff and the household linens. (I don’t really have linens - haha, but I like saying that instead of sheets & towels). Plus my H does his in spurts of 5-6 loads 1x/month. And my DD does hers about 1x/week.

Most weeks 5, a load of lights, a load of darks, towels, my sheets, and DD's bedding. Sometimes if I'm short on time I skip bedding for a week.
About once a month I have a kitchen linens load (napkins, dish towels, placemats, counter cloths), a throw blanket load, a bed blanket load, a load of coats or jackets, or other random items.
We are a household of 2, but DD dances 5 days a week so there is extra dance laundry.
