Lol, agree. Faints at 10 loads of laundry a week. Maybe they’re not full loads? I even rewear sports bras when I’m working out at home, shrugs. Things last longer with less washes. The days of living overseas and doing my laundry by hand was def a light laundry time haha.
I'm honestly trying to figure out what we do differently that makes so much more laundry. I work out every day, and the amount of sweat I generate means that my workout stuff does need washed, so that stuff only gets worn once. I do re-wear things like jeans/leggings/shorts/bras that I put on after working out. In the winter I also usually have a long sleeve top/sweatshirt that I wear over my workout tank top until it's time to work out, and I'll rewear that for a few days too. But between the workout clothes and the clothes that I wear after working out, plus dh's clothes (he changes after work because he works in a hospital, so he feels like he brings home germs, and he sometimes also adds in a workout outfit if he has time), I feel like we go through a lot of clothes. We wear pajamas for about 3 nights before washing them. We use towels for a week before washing them. We change sheets once a week. Still 10 loads.
Exact same scenario here. I will add my boys also have a lot of "workout/uniforms" that adds up. they are both in PE daily and have practice or a game/meet 1-2x a week plus a karate uniform. He drips sweat when they do sparring and intense lessons.
we reuse towels 2x, we don't wash PJs, jeans and all hoodies after every use.
it just adds up. Maybe not 10 every single week but pretty much a load or 2 every day with an occasional skipped day here and there.

At least 1 a day but sometimes 2 or 3. I have three kids and they are all athletes so I'm always washing uniforms and gear in addition to the regular laundry.

too many for 2 people
2 loads of towels (white towels w bleach, kitchen towels go w colored bath ones) 1 load of sheets 1-2 loads my clothes 3-4 loads Miss R's clothes 1 load dog blankets (every other week) 1 load Miss R bed blankets (she rotates through 3, but usually one ends up in the wash weekly and being queen/king sized, its the ONLY thing that fits in the washer) 1 load my bedding (monthly)
DH’s clothes, workout clothes, my clothes, our airdry clothes, DS usually has two loads because he changes 5 times a day, bedding, towels, kitchen towels, dog blankets for the couch twice

Typically 4 a week for a family of 4 (and more like 5-6 during sports seasons when at least 2, but sometimes all 4 of us, have uniforms and practice clothes)
We're a family of 4. 2 loads for the kids, 1 load for me, 1 load for bedding and towels and my husband does his own. At least 2 loads. So minimum 6 loads for a family of 4. When I had an old style top load machine that used 10,000 gallons of water, I would need at least 2 pods/load. Now that I have an HE front loader, 1 pod is more than enough for large loads. My new machine just cleans better with little water and little detergent.
