Thank you. Like how does this even happen? I ordered new MN Lynx license plates (our WNBA team) and I get Whiskey plates.
Do you get a new registration form when your plates change? In my state, you do. If so, I'd be curious which plate design the registration indicates. In my state, the registration must match the plates.
You would think, but all that was in the package this time was a receipt showing whiskey plates and my name. No other information.
Of course it's Friday and I am getting no where with anyone answering the phone.

Getting someone from the DMV (or whatever acronym your state uses) sounds like a nightmare any day of the week... I hope you're able to get this resolved quickly.
fangoriagurkel - H has been working really hard to make the neighborhood crows his friend. He mostly gives them peanuts (in the shell). They follow him on walks around the neighborhood and he tosses the peanuts out. he also leaves them on our mailbox. They've only ever left one thing (we think) which was one of those weird wasp things that looks like a berry? Anyway.
Several years ago I tried to befriend the neighborhood murder. All I got for my trouble was dead snakes in the bird bath. I really wanted crow trinkets!
I’m absolutely going to start with shelled peanuts this weekend. Having them follow me on neighborhood walks sound extremely cool and totally on brand for me!

And what if the person who SHOULD’VE gotten whiskey plates just got your regular ones?

I took the kittens to the Vet today and they have literally doubled in size in the last two weeks. They still seem so tiny to me, I can't believe they were half this size just two weeks ago. For the last week we've had a baby gate up to slowly introduce them to the dogs. One of the kittens already escaped and didn't get eaten so that's good (I literally turned my back to put food in their bowl and she was up and out). This weekend we are going to attempt leashed introductions with each dog individually. Wish me luck.
As an update on my post earlier this month, we deposited on DS's new school this week and he's happier than ever. I talked to my therapist, and we're going to take it a day at a time for me and are beginning the EMDR therapy next Thursday, starting with this. All of this is surfacing a lot of feelings for me and has sparked some hard conversations with my mom but both things have just confirmed that I am right to be pursuing trauma therapy. She is actually planning to start therapy this month too and may pursue some trauma work of her own. We have all decided it is best not to tell DS anything at this point. Thank you all for your support!

We got A magnetic earrings to try out and he loved them and had a really positive response from his classmates. We went and got them pierced after school and he did so well. They look great and he is very happy.
He said that other boys now also want earrings, so he is going to pass the magnetic ones off to a friend.
There is a lot of nonsense in the world right now, but I'm happy that at least this little sliver is trending positive.
Perimenopause is super. I went from normal 28 day cycles with only 4 days of period, to only getting it every three months, and now this time, after going 3 months without, I've had it for 17 days. It's not super heavy, but at what point do I need to start worrying? Ugh.
I'm only on the first page, and someone may have answered you, but my doctor said to go call any time I went 90 days between periods. Prior to menopause/around the time of it, I did have to have a uterine biopsy and a D&C. I can't remember the exact circumstances of those things, but doctor said it was not good to have a lining build up for more than 90 days.
Our car was stolen last month. Insurance paid us out a week ago.
Today, we got a notice in the mail it was ticketed. We drove by and it’s still there. They ticketed a stolen car. Unbelievable the city parking agency does not have access to stolen car info and neither the police or insurance company checked for ticket.

That's crazy - am I understanding that this means you only just now found your car? And the police didn't find it, despite ticketing it?
I got a red light ticket for my car that got stolen a few years ago, too. I was able to get it removed but you'd think their systems would have connected to avoid this! They did find my car the following day, but called my phone to tell me - which they also knew was stolen, lol. They did not call my alternative phone number so I didn't find out that they found it until a few days later when my insurance told me it was reported found.

I'm glad you got your insurance payout, at least.
Yes. Stolen on 3/10. Ticketed on 3/19 and just received ticket via mail on 4/18! So just found it’s in our city by the ticket!

That’s crazy! So you have it back now? Will you have to pay back the insurance? Or just not tell them?
