Checking in from NC (Triad area). We lost power for a couple of hours, but it is back on now. Hopefully it stays on, but I am fairly optimistic. I think the wind has died down for now, but we are under a wind advisory until 6 am Tues.
My mom lives near Cleveland, OH and she still had power when I talked to her about an hour ago. However she seemed to think they could easily lose power at some point.

Woohoo, we're through the worst part and my lights are still on. Had a couple scares--I saw a huge tree come down about 8ft from my neighbor's house and many flickers of the lights. Hopefully everything keeps going well as this dies down overnight.
A friend who lives in my building walked home about an hour ago. She says that the hudson river was flooded almost up to the side of our building (and that's up a decent hill)
Central PA - 2.5 hours w/O power. My poor neighbors had to start using their generator right away bc their battery backup on their sump didn't kick in. It's been quiet here but supposed to be bad later.

I'm in NoVA and it is almost 11 pm. We still have power, miraculously, though I expect it to go out any time. I was certain it was going to go out early afternoon.
I heard on the news that peak winds are to continue for the next 4 or so hours. WTF?! This feels like it has been going on forever. The trees bending in our neighborhood are nuts.
And what is going on in NYC... OMG! Stay safe up there, friends. It looks terrible.

Columbus, OH
Lost power right after dinner last night so the kids had baths by candlelight and then we dug out down comforters to keep them warm during the night. DS was so spooked that I ended up sleeping in his bed with him. It came back on around midnight.

We are in granville and were fine. I haven't heard from my in laws in Cleveland, but I assume they are fine.
