I sell on Etsy - embroidered/monogrammed clothes, accessories, and home stuff.
So I buy a lot of embroidery files and designs. I've also bought jewelry, printables, kids shirts, and gifts. My most recent gift purchase was a vintage deviled egg plate for my mom.
This will go in our breakfast nook. It's unfinished so I can stain or paint.
Here is a pic of the table, kitchen and then looking into living room. Floor in breakfast nook is gray tile. Cabinets are espresso. Floor in attached living room is espresso wood and furniture is light gray chalk paint. Our decorations are coastal/beachy.
Should I paint it white and do white chairs? Or teal or navy chairs?
Stain it gray or espresso? Or stain the top and paint the pedestal white?
Excuse the mess, I took these pics with no lights on this morning.
These! It's the be maternity brand there I think! Love them
That's what mine are. I just tried to look it up to post a link, but online, it only looks like they have the ones with gathers on the side...so they'll look maternity. They might have the others in the store, though. Mine just look like a regular tank top with extra length and a little extra give in the midsection (though that could be because they were worn through two pregnancies of huge babies and they're old!)
Yea they have the regular ones in store. I got mine less then 6m ago
My Target maternity camis are great for that! I still wear them 3.5 years after my last baby was born! LOL! They're just extra long, which is good for me!

I hear ya on the sleep mpc,. My sleep SUCKED during 2nd and 3rd tri. I would be up for hours during the middle of the night. Sleep is getting a little better, S is down to mostly 1x a night wake ups.
So I am going to Italy for work next month and will be leaving S for the first time. She will be 5m. I am excited and scared at the same time. I Know my DH will do a good job but I am UNexcited about pumping 24/7 while I am there and bringing it home.
S rolled over for the first time last week! AND she started holding toys and playing with them (aka putting them in her mouth). EKKKK she is growing up so fast!!!
I don't understand how forcibly removing someone they designated a mandatory volunteer was the more logical route, instead say moving on to someone else or increasing voucher amount (perhaps monetarily unfair to the couple the left for a lower amount).
This.....plus I am also confused.....were they private security or actual police officers that removed him?
It's my birthday today! Had an issue with daycare this morning but got it resolved. Feeling better but still emotional. Getting a pedicure with my DH now.
I'd rework that missing poster to be a little more forceful and have it taped right on the damn door.
I got a random pair of undies in my son's spare clothes bag once, not the same as pushing away a $200 stroller. My stroller was $70, I'm pretty sure I could tell the difference. People are opportunists.
I'd definitely take her if your DH is willing! S has been on several 9+ hour flights and she's done great. If it's an overnight flight they usually sleep through it. 5 months is a great time to travel IMO.
From Turin, you can easily get to Milan or Genoa. If you want to explore Switzerland, Geneve and Lausanne are not far. When we were in Switzerland a couple years ago we visited Lausanne (SIL and her family were living there) and some smaller towns in France that were adorable (Yvoire, Annecy). There's a lot to choose from and everything is a short train ride away. Have fun!
Thanks!
Would Switzerland be a good place to rent a car and drive around? We did that in Ireland a few years ago and DH loved that trip. S does really well in the car too so I wouldn't be worried about that.
I am back to having bad anxiety. Like first tri anxiety. I feel baby move daily but I still freak myself out and tell myself "maybe its just gas bubbles?"
It doesn't help that it took us more than 2 minutes to find his heartbeat last night.
I am just terrified that now that I am showing and feeling him move that something will go wrong again.
When I was in the hospital for 2 weeks before I had S, I had to get NST daily and then heartbeat checks twice a day too. The nurses had the hardest time finding her, so if they had a hard time, it's ok you had a hard time finding him too! I bet he was just dancing around in there!!!
So it looks like I will be going to Turin, Italy for a work meeting next month. I am trying to convince my DH to come and bring the baby. We could stay afterwards and tour someplace (take a train to another city). Tell me about flying with a 5m old? She has been on numerous flights already (5 hours is longest) and has done really well.
Any places you recommend we could travel to from Turin? I have already done Rome, Naples, and Greece. So maybe Switzerland or France since they are closest?
If he doesn't come with her.....how the heck do I pump on the airplane?
Please get your kidneys checked out (simple blood test) and if they are ok then you probably have IC. I have kidney disease and IC. Kidney disease I had no symptoms except blood and protein in my urine. Diet changes have helped me. I'm currently nursing so I can't do any of the meds right now
starryfish , are you going to take S on your cruise? If you go out of the port near me you'll have to let me know! hope the surgery is easy today cherryvalance .
YESSSSSSS.....Zika is getting in my way as we would LOVE to leave from galveston which is only 20 mins from us. Looking at Bermuda right now (leaving from NY) or maybe Bahamas (they only had a couple Zika cases and haven't had any new cases in months). Debating between Carnival and RC. We always do Carnival but Royal has a nursery on some of their boats. Decisions decisions!
mpc, you are so so close!!!!!!!! EKKKKKKK!!!! oneslybookworm, I am sorry she has been MIA, that truly sucks. mrsgoontz, WTF I would have lost it! shauni27, 6 months! Watching your belly dance is so fun! I miss being PG (WHO thought I would ever say that lol)
S has begun sleeping better lately, so I appreciate that. She is still doing well at daycare but does NOT take a bottle well from my DH at home (so weird since she takes bottles fine at daycare). We are just trying to plan our upcoming vacations....trying to decide which cruise to do!

I did LVP at my old house and got it from Lowes. It was $1.39 a sf I think. LOVE LOVE LOVE it so much! Was so easy to put down. Plus I used a 10% coupon too!
We have master down, and a guest bed down (the guest bed has a full bath next to it, but not in the bedroom). Kids rooms are upstairs, my kids are 3 and 4.
I love our layout! It is nice because once the kids are in bed, we don't have to be super quiet, everything the adults use is downstairs. Plus, the kids bath is upstairs and guests wouldn't ever use it.
*I also like the fact that with the master down, if we grow old in this house or have any issues with the stairs, everything we need is on the 1st floor. It already helps to have the guest down when my mom and in laws visit, they all have bad knees, and like not having to climb stairs.
We have this plan. we only have one baby right now, but we put her in the room downstairs so it is easy to get to her stuff (she sleeps with us for now).
At 36+2 they estimate my baby weighs 7 lbs 5 oz. Yikes. Sounds to me like she's ready to come out now, no?
I had an ultrasound to check on baby's kidneys again. They are still somewhat dilated, but not near as much as DS's were at this point. We saw a diff doctor and he was going on and on about what this could mean and I cut him off and was basically like, send the report to the urologist, if he's concerned, I'll talk to him. Because we're been dealing with it for years and I feel like I already know what this guy could tell me. His job is just to measure, and then pass me on. And last I talked to the urologist he wasn't concerned and isn't planning on doing half of what we did for DS.
I'm thinking of you today awkwardpenguin !! Hope everything is going great!
At 35+3 they estimated DD to be 7lbs8oz but they said it could be off by +/- a pound. She was born 5 days later and weighed 6lbs13oz. Luckily I had the steroid shot at 34w and so her lungs were ok. they really don't like babies coming before 37w. I was hospitalized for pre-e and their whole goal was for me to make it to 37w even tho she was measure 4w+ ahead lol. So glad you made it this far and you haven't had pre-e!

I had to give formula once in the hospital bc I didn't have anything coming out even after hand expressing. We did a ready to feed bottle of formula with the brown rubber nipple that came with it. After we were home we bought the dr brown preemie nipples and used those for bottles.
I'm very irritated. They started the magnesium an hour ago, but have done nothing to actually induce because the dr got pulled into surgery. So I'm on this for no reason.
I started mag at 7pm but didn't get my ballon until close to 10pm. The mag sucks but it's important to be on. The initial mag load sucks the worst. GL!!!
