As someone who couldn't get pregnant for 3 years (and hasn't been trying for gosh, almost a year now), I hate when people are all "la di da, I'm pregnant. JUST KIDDING!" Because I feel like most of my FB can just sneeze and get pregnant.
Sure, I shouldn't be offended because they don't know my issues but I'm still going to think they are all assholes.
We have a suv because it is 4 wheel drive and we need that around here, what with a lot of our roads being no winter maintenance. However, my next car I would like to find one better on fuel.
I am okay with needing fuel for things like generators and reasonable vehicles but I am also pro wind power and solar power and being green.
On topic, I fill my car with the gas points and in the summer, we fill the gas cans for the lawn mower. Our gas stations reward points are 20 gallons.
I use a brother quilting machine, it was $200. It is terrible for quilting due to not enough room in the right lol but it works wonderfully for everything else. I have an old singer from the 1940s or so, I think (it was my grandmas before my mom was born) and it is all metal. I love it but it needs a lot of work.
I collect white porcelain serveware shaped like animals, but I'm pretty sure that's just me.
Do you have the owl cookie jar from target? or the cow cream dispenser? God, I want that cow so bad but target no longer has them. And they had them in such fun colors!
Poor man I had something like this the other weekend. Unspeakable things happened. It was terrible. I just wanted to be left alone to suffer. I agree with SueSue. Line the bucket!
I like when people feed strays and take them to low cost spay/neuter programs (and sometimes human societies will do low cost for strays just to control the population) and then release them. Sure, the cat might not live long (poor kitty) but it also won't be repopulating and creating more of an issue.
I have wanted a bike since forever, but I always felt like I was way too fat (obese actually). I had lost some weight in the last 2 years and since then have wanted one, so I finally bought one.
First time out was Thursday - 3.33 miles Saturday - 3.81
Today?
5.08 miles!!! OMG! I feel great. This ride was SO much easier than the first two. I ride with a friend and it is all hills and curves but damn do I feel proud.
I feel like I can really lose weight this year now! Actually, I feel like a badass.
The indication was that she was "ravenous" at every meal, despite you thinking she was eating. Had she been eating, eating enough, getting the nutrition she needed, or possibly some other issue that was food related - she wouldn't be so terribly hungry all the time.
I am trying to figure out how a ravenous bird that refuses one meal is considered anorexic? Eta: as in, op said the bird ate well but the vet said anorexic
My guess is that OP was feeding some pellets with lots of fresh stuff (per her saying so) and the bird was eating maybe some of the pellets. Which, over time, would lead to starvation and death. Hence why she was always so hungry, she was eating what was familiar but it wasn't enough.
I watched a show on netflix where someone left their bird, in a cage, in the home and moved, that poor bird. Birds live so long and so often outlive owners.
We had parakeets growing up and cute as they are, they are so fragile and a draft can kill them that I would never own a bird again. (Besides my chickens lol)
