How old? We had a couple areas patched due to staining on 60 yo oak and you can't tell. The floors were in great shape besides the staining though since they had been covered by carpet at some point. It's likely something only you would notice. I think if you stain it it's a lot easier to make it appear seamless with adjusting the coloring to match the old/new.
Edit: to clarify the whole room was sanded and stained. I think it would be obvious depending on the age of the finish in the rest of the room if you didn't refinish the whole floor together.
I think it is way worse when they are that little. Lots of stretch pants. I always put dd in dresses to solve the problem big that doesn't help you. Once they get to be around 6 mos the diaper just seems not to overwhelm them as much. But if we are wearing anything really cute or for a special occassion I always just throw on a disposable.
I get out of work at 5 and home by 615. I try and make dinner right away or some nights our baby sitter will start it (dd is in dc pt and has a babysitter pt). She's 10 mos so I try to eat by 7. Hour of play then we do bottle and bedtime.
They've brought up the subject and opened a dialogue so I think you should pretty much say what you've said here. The friendship has started to become more distant because of this and I think you have nothing to lose by being honest about how your son feels and that you acknowledge it's just kid stuff and you don't blame their son or anything. However, I absolutely would not bring up any other children or what other parents may have said to you.
I would think getting kids out the door in the am would be a hell of a lot louder than laundry. I would not think twice f doing laundry when I woke up unless maybe the washer was right next to a bedroom. 930 is late. Even for vacation. Everyone chose to go on a vacation with a family with kids. I think you have to expect that it's not the same as a vacation without other families. Your ILs sound like they suck.
Ok well knowing there were other issues with her changes my answer a bit. Ftr even if there weren't I would say it would be justifiable to not pay the full amount but if you are just asking WWYD I would keep the peace with an otherwise good roommate. Sounds like that's not the case.
Seriously winter is almost over. I lived this situation with roommates. My room was always fine. One was frigid and another was a sauna. What should the bill be? A difference of like $30
$170 seems like a bargain! Space heaters make me nervous but I would suggest a heated blanket to her. Personally I would just pay half to keep the peace.
I am so sorry. I missed the backstory and industry but just keep doing what you are doing. They may have another req open up eventually. I was in a longer term temp position and applied for a perm job and they wouldn't even consider me. Several months later another department pursued me and I ended up getting an offer which I turned down for a different company. It stings though.
I am actually really excited. I'm short and I remember these being really comfortable and I wore them every weekend with my black pants and sparkly t shirt from the gap.
Everything is flats and makes my legs look stumpy.
This might not be popular but I would stop pumping. You bf for three mos which is great. Cutting out the pumping will cut your work day down and it's one less thing to deal with when you get home cleaning parts. I would also request to wfh. I have a really bad commute too but you do get used to the new normal eventually. I miss my daughter during the day but I don't feel like I missed out on her life if that makes sense. Anything else you can do to make your life easier and free up quality time w lo I would do too - hire a cleaner, do take out more often, etc.
Edit- I also want to add, I was unsuccessful at bf and that colors my view. My friend pumped and bf twins and now that they are three she says she wishes she had quit the pump and bf earlier and just spent time with her babies. It's a very personal decision but I was very surprised when she told me that.
Right now 4. One pair of rain boots just in case. A pair of black pumps. A pair of brown pumps that are uncomfortable and can be tossed. And a pair of summer shoes. I'm also in snowy climate with a walk to my office. I cleaned things out a while ago but I probably was up to 10.
Edit: and this is a thing! My coworker has all hers in a shoe basket visible under her desk. At least mine are in a drawer.
Her right hip is smaller than her left and that is not a natural thigh gap. Photoshop. That doesn't even look good. I bet all these women are going to end up with a serious fupa problem. The fat has to go somewhere.
I'm glad you are ok. He could have killed someone but that doesn't seen to have sunk in. I wonder how pending civil ligation affects his visa if at all? I would absolutely take him for everything he's worth for calling himself white ghandi alone. I think my coverage for property is 100/300. Now I need to go check. I can't believe ca minimums are that low! That is so irresponsible.
