I'm reading Our Tragic Universe by Scarlett Thomas. Her books are hard to explain. Her novels talk a lot about science and philosophy. I'm not sure I like this one. I liked her other books better: Popco and The End of Mr. Y.

I'm reading A Feast for Crows. I don't think I'm enjoying it very much. I'm also reading another book about a Korean woman who moves to Hawaii, but I don't remember the name of it.
I'm behind the times and I'm reading We Need to Talk About Kevin. I'm not sure yet if I like it... the writing style is annoying me greatly and so far it's kind of boring.

I agree. I felt like I kept waiting for something to happen. And the parents! I know it was written from the mother's prepective, but how could the father be so blind?
The Name of the Rose by Umberto Eco. It's on my list of difficult reads. And it sort of is. Apparently, I have a short attention span. I'm about 100 pages in and my mind wanders...a lot. But I think the story will be interesting (murder in a monastery).
Also reading Bossypants.
And The Science of Cooking which is just fascinating.
And a re-read of HPII - Chamber of Secrets. Maybe I really do have ADD?

I think my brain would explode if I would to read more than one book at a time.
Ha! Yeah - it really depends on how exhausted I am. If I'm too tired to read, it's something easy like HP or the Bossypants book. But when I have more energy, then I tackle the more difficult reads.

I just finished Sarah Dessen's The Truth About Forever, which I didn't love as much as other people did. I'm also reading Michelle Moran's Nerfertiti, but I'm only about 40 pages in because it's hardback, and it's too heavy to carry that and my umbrella in my work bag, heh.
I just finished Pioneer Woman's Black Heels & Tractor Wheels Novel. I didn't know anything much about her other than she was a blogger and wrote cookbooks. I kinda don't like her... (Spoilers ahead) Living at home with her parents with no responsibilities to speak of... She was going to go to Chicago and had a place lined up but no job awaiting her? Also I thought it was weird she didn't write in the book about initially telling MMan about her parents marriage troubles and how he reacted to the news.

The Paris Wife. I am almost finished with and it's okay. I find myself getting pissed off a lot! I think I will read Clash of Kings next. I took a break after Game of Thrones, but I think I am ready for the second one now.
I've never posted on the book club board before, but I'm reading The Future of Us for my work book club. I hate it so far. Divergent/Insurgent sounds more my style though, so I'm glad I stumbled onto this post!
I just finished this. I loved the concept, but I feel like it was a very average effort by the writer. The first half was really good and the last half felt like some drunken dream my nerd boys used to tell me in high school.

Feast was really hard for me to get through.
I'm reading The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest. I'm not a big fan of the detail overkill in these books, but I really like Lisbeth so I decided I might as well finish the books.
