I live in WA state/USA. Winco is my grocery store. Winco stands for Washington Idaho Nevada Colorado Oregon. If you don't live in one of those states you're out of luck which is too bad cause Winco is awesome!
We have them in California as well. We must have stolen your awesome.
In my town we have foodmaxx and raleys. Thirty minutes away we have Costco, tj's, winco, Safeway and two local tj/wf type stores. And forty-five minutes the other direction there is a super Walmart, SAMs club and a good earth. I frequent them all depending on what I need and where I'm at.

NorCal.
BelAir, Raleys (yes NorCal-ers, I realize these are the same company, but I like the BelAir better than the Raleys), TJs, and Sprouts.
Other stores we have within 1/2 an hour or less: Safeway, SaveMart, Grocery Outlet, Whole Foods, Fresh Market, Super Target, and a Winco. Plus Sam's, WalMart, and Costco.
I was wondering about that when I saw several Schnucks shoppers. I only stop in there once or twice a year but I still managed to get caught up in the card problem. Mine was automatically canceled.

I've lived in Nevada or Colorado my entire life and have never heard of Winco.
We shop at King Soopers and Sprouts.
I didn't hear about Winco until I went to college. There aren't any in eastern WA only western WA as far as I know.

Just for shits and giggles, mine are: Wong, Metro, Plaza Vea, Vivanda and about a zillion little tiendas on like every third corner (I don´t know how they stay in business).

I did not know that! Winco is the shit. I shop at Fred Meyer though (owned by Kroeger).

PDX suburbs.
Another poster said it's also in CA. *shrug* I had no idea. I was told about the meaning/states it's in by a Winco employee so I just believed them at face value.

Silicon Valley, California: Safeway, Lucky (used to be Albertsons), Whole Foods, Trader Joes
When I lived in southern California, we had Vons, Ralphs, Albertsons (was Lucky before they got bought out), Stater Brothers, Whole Foods and Trader Joes
I find it fascinating that Albertsons bought out Lucky in southern California and Lucky bought out Albertsons in northern California.
I need to go to Roots or Green Dragon again soon....
I'd be interested to know the names of your places if you're in the area I think you are, but I understand you not wanting to share.
Green dragon has become so depressing. I live a hop, skip, and a jump from it (ok...more like an hour now that I've moved. But it still isn't that far away) and they just don't have much. Any produce they do have, you can find at local mennonite and amish markets and road side stands.
I'm in Central, PA at the moment. I came from the Lebanon area. I know things...in both places.
