Peaches and Cream Barbie.  I got this when my parents brought my baby brother home from the hospital.  I loved this dress so much and was convinced that my wedding dress would look like it.

This brings back so many memories!!! This one was my favorite too!

I don't remember having certain barbies, they all looked alike to me and my Mom usually wouldn't let me buy any because they were too costly

I had a bunch of regular Barbies, but I can't really remember those. The best day of my childhood was when my mom finally gave in and let me unpackage the Holiday/Birthday Barbies she'd collected for me. Those dresses!

I remember my mom refusing to buy me a Jem doll until I turned 6.  My BFF got one for her fifth birthday, and I watched the cartoon like it was my religion.  The day I finally got Jem was probably the happiest of my kindergarten life.

This one! I remember the whale could squirt water too. It was a love hate relationship though. The black "wet suit" legs were always there and didn't always go with her other outfits! I think the black went away in cold (or hot?) water.

This looks like the one I had, but isn't quite it. It was a "Hawaiian barbie" Christie doll. She was my favorite. I remember telling my Nana that I thought she was the prettiest of all my barbies. Nana told me that my opinion was a good sign of social change since no one in her day would have thought that.

The best was when my aunt showed me her Barbie that came with different wigs.

Random fact: my Jem outfit's yellow high heels fit my NKOTB dolls. My teenaged brother used to put them on Jordan Knight to piss me off.
