Yes! I got it for Christmas when I was in 3rd grade. I have no idea how my parents managed to afford it.

When I was typing that I realized it's not a guarantee. Or that one (or both) of my boys could want to play with Barbies. The chances are just slimmer.

I used it as a car. Or boat, depending on what tragedy she was experiencing.

The year I got some Barbie family (I guess the Heart family, but they dkn't look familiar), I got this Barbie Mercedes that you could pull backwards and it would drive. It had tiny buckets for the babies.

I also loved that creepy large Barbie hairstyling head.

I used to
get Avon Barbies...I got the "spring" one for my May birthday and the Winter one for Christmas. I still have many of them in the boxes at my parents because I never wanted to take them out.
I also loved my gymnast barbies...I imagine I got them around the Atlanta Olympics, because I was big into gymnastics then.



ETA: One of my Avon Barbies is valued at $75 now, and another is valued at $50, yes!

And Derek from Barbie and the Rockers was far superior to any of my Ken dolls. He had awesome highlights.

Yes! I had the one with the hair twisting tool too! I loved that thing!

Peaches n' Cream was always my favorite too. I kept her on a special shelf to keep her dress nice.

I only had one Barbie that I got from a school friend for my 6th or 7th birthday. I didn't think there was anyway I'd remember which one she was until someone posted Tropical Miko. I had Tropical Barbie!

I also vividly remember playing with someone who had the pregnant Barbie you could take her belly on and off.
