Congrats kdogg! I'm on baby aspirin and PIO. My nurse mentioned staying on PIO until 7 weeks, but that was when we were at the beginning of the IVF process. Hoping you're weaned soon, that's quite the list of meds!
Hey all! Cactus convinced me to make my way over here. I am coming off of two losses, so I've been hesitant to post here. I'm around 6.5 weeks right now. Have my first ultrasound on Tuesday.
For those of you on meds, what are you all still taking?
I'm on estradiol, baby asprin, progesterone oil, estrogen patches, and lovenox, and crinone gel. Hoping they will wean me off some of it after my appt.
Congrats and good luck! I was only on estrace and progesterone, but I was on both of those through 14 weeks. The good news is that I think I am the only one who stayed on meds so long.
Two sets of twins would make an awfully fun household!!
we would be brokkeeeeeee but it would be fun
Crashing this thread to tell you that my friend has two sets of twins. The older set is boy/girl and they are 3.5, and the younger set are both boys with special needs and just turned 2. She is busy! They adopted them all from foster care though, so it's a little different from your situation
Congrats to everyone in here. So excited for you all. I love seeing a wave of BFPs on TTTC.
Muddled my very scientific internet research says my odds are around 25/75 (twins). My first beta had the odds at 50/50 (all very scientific, I swear, ha).
Lol. Give me your data so I don't have to look it up.
I think your numbers are actually fairly close to mine.
So that's 13 and 15 dpo? And I have twins But there are some girls who have high beta numbers with just a single beast in there.
I find it interesting how betas can vary so much person to person. Mine were very close to yours and I only have a singleton in there. They were 137 and 270 at 14 and 16dpo.
I'm on Dexamethasone (wean off during week 8); progesterone/estrogen suppositories and PIO (stop at 9 weeks if my level is high enough); and heparin and aspirin (stop at 13 weeks, unless my OB says otherwise).
Trying for #3; FET 8/18 -- BFN. Leaving things up to chance for now... After three years, three IVFs, and two FETs, we finally have our miracle babIES!

Right! I honestly thought it was 1 until my first u/s.

Second beta just came in. First was 124 at 12dpo, today at 14dpo was 240-something? I was shopping and couldn't write it down. Progesterone was good, thyroid was good.
Spotting has reduced significantly but hasn't gone away completely.

I feel you on this. If we even make it to our scan next Monday, I still won't consider myself 'graduated' until our CVS at 11 weeks and it's a really, really long time until then. I love that everyone is so excited, and of course you all deserve it so much, but I'll be limiting my posting for now.

I have my first scan Tuesday but it won't mean much to me because i saw a perfect heartbeat both of my last pregnancies. I don't know when i will actually get excited...maybe 12 weeks? I made it to 10 weeks last time. I haven't even looked up my due date, because i don't want to know
I'm trying to take things more one day at a time this time. It's helpful I know the embryos are normal and I'm trying to push rare stuff out of my mind.
I think taking things day by day is the only way when you're PGAL. I'm glad you have the security of knowing your embryos are normal. While I'm happy we got pg without having to go through IVF, I would have loved the advantage of embryo genetic screening, considering our history. I'm going to try and worry about our first scan first. Then I'll start worrying about our CVS.
