I'm just waiting for the nausea to kick in, which it did last time for me at 6w on the dot. It was horrible with V, to the point where I had to miss important client meetings. I tried to ask the GP for something for it this time, but was basically subtly shamed when she said 'I think, given your history you probably want to avoid any medication unless you're vomiting so much you're dehydrated'. The NHS seems to have a strict 'no meds' policy, which is funny because they also say you can have a glass of wine a week, no probs.
Lol at the seabands. Those fuckers did nothing for me except make my wrists hurt.
This...makes me angry. I mean, the situation with V was a proven case of bad luck, right? There's no fucking way it was your fault, and unisom and B6 are recommended to pregnant all the freaking time to ease nausea.
Oh, no I don't think she was talking about V (or at least I refuse to think that because it would be so horrible). I think she just meant because of my history of pregnancy loss in general I should be super careful. But honestly this pregnancy, if all goes well, is already going to be really hard on me. I mean, how miserable am I supposed to get? Clearly they refuse to treat it here unless you have the debilitating kind of morning sickness like Kate Middleton.
Hope everything's okay boiler717. As pps said, some women do experience spotting and bleeding throughout pregnancy. My mum bled until 20 weeks with my brother (born totally healthy). She said it was awful, and she even went to the ER at one point when she passed a clot and thought it was tissue.

I actually figured out like an hour after I posted that it was probably about RPL and not V. Duh. Hopefully you sail through this pregnancy with just enough nausea to ease your mind about something growing in there and not enough to make you miserable.
Thinking of you, boiler717. Let someone else lift your carry-on for you.
ivy, 6 weeks can go either way. You have no reason to worry. <3
I asked the hertz people to take it out of the trunk and instead they drove me to the airport. I checked my bag and the agent lifted it for me. It was so hard to ask people but everyone was super nice.

boiler717, did the nurse say anything about what might be causing it, or when you should call again, or...anything helpful at all? I guess it's good that she wasn't concerned though.

No she gave zero fucks. She said they'll see me Tuesday and call if it gets work. My OB is a friend, I may see if she'll scan me but I hate to ask (I'm guessing she'll offer when I tell her what's going on). I'm having lots of pubic bone discomfort but I don't think it's cramping but it hurts so much down there I don't know for sure.

You told the nurse about the pain? Not just the bleeding?
I have to believe that if the nurse didn't care, it's because she's seen this a million times and it's turned out fine. Or I want to believe that, at least.
I hope everything is ok boiler717. Fwiw I had spotting at 22 weeks, and everything was fine. It was a Sunday and I laid in bed all day, so worried that I was m/c, then went in to see my OB the next day. She said I had some bleeding from the surface of my cervix. Mine was caused by sex 48 hours earlier, but she said anything strenuous can cause it - exercise, heavy lifting, etc.
Anyway, try to relax. I'll be praying for you, hope you can get in today and set your mind at ease before the weekend.
boiler717 - any update so far? Has the spotting stopped?
I had but more but it was really dark. RE's office didn't call back. My OB said I could come in for a scan but I am going to trust everything is okay. She will take me up to the office over the weekend if needed but I think it will be okay. RE appt Tuesday.

I keep checking over here to see how you're doing! Keeping fx crossed for you.
