I'm going to start packing up my makeup tomorrow to see what I can fit in the (small) suitcase that will be coming in my car as opposed to the moving truck.

Hey pixy0stix...what kind of powers do you have as a mod? Could you resize the photo in the first post since I can't do shit from my phone? Stupid ass tapatalk.
ETA: Don't answer that. Everyone can just deal with the ginormous face.
I haven't even purchased makeup in I don't know how long. I bought two things on Hautelook when theBalm was on sale, but prior to that, maybe around Christmas? I'm in a funk.
I have 5x points at Ulta this week plus it's my birthday month, so tack on another 2x and I have birthday money to spend. I'm very meh and nothing is calling my name.
I'm defintely not feeling makeup lately. I'm in minimalist mode for sure. Between the heat and the waking up pukey makeup is taking a backseat. I'm barely putting on eyeshadow. It's so sad.
I find my desire to do more than a wash of color on my lids and a little blush goes out the window every summer. It's just too damn hot to put more stuff on my face until Fall.
I'll totally do a red, white, and blue look on Saturday. I did last year an sit turned out really nice. And now I actually have red liner. Just no crazy eyelashes like that photo.
I predict this will be all the rage from companies this fall. Just got this email from smashbox today.

I've been slacking on makeup recently too. Today I wore red lipstick and played up my paleness for a lazy red & white look in honour of Canada Day. Nowhere near as impressive as the 4th of July photo in the OP.

I've also been lazy with my makeup recently. I've been in a funk ever since I had pink eye a few weeks ago. A week of no eye makeup plus my 5-prescriptions-behind glasses for a week in the blazing heat.
I'm excited about the idea of a red, white, and blue face for Saturday though :-)
I've decided that I have an unhealthy obsession with foundation. It seems like such a boring product, but when I was wandering around Sephora the other day the only thing I wanted to buy was more foundation. I forced myself to by YSL Touche Éclat instead, which is only slightly different from a foundation!
I've been moving and it's been sweaty, so I haven't taken pics. BUT, today I'm getting eyelash extensions (half) so I'll post that. I won't be able to wear eye makeup on Friday due to them, but will post from NYC as I WILL be taking and putting on makeup there (and bringing my laptop).
I wore makeup one time last month. It was for a job interview.
You may revoke my makeup board status.
Sometimes I think I have more of a makeup buying obsession than a makeup wearing one.
Okay, more than sometimes.
Yeeeeeeeeees me too! Luckily I am starting to move away from that a bit. Having the MUB instead of MUT is helping because I don't feel like I have to keep up.
It's been too damn hot to wear much more than eye makeup and lipstick here.

Just found out yesterday that a huge Ulta is opening up within about 15/20 minutes from my house as opposed to the closest one at an hour away!-This can not be good!!

I haven't bought any make up or skin care products the entire month if June! I back to MACed for a lip stick, but that's it. Is been using up my stash and it feels soo great!
Is anyone else springing for faster shipping with the weather being so hot? I'm placing an Ulta order on Saturday, so my stuff going by ground from Illinois to Seattle sounds like a disaster waiting to happen. I'm already nervous about my Laura Mercier order arriving ruined (left from Michigan a couple days ago and isn't supposed to get here until next Wednesday).
Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime. Mark Twain
Not really. Because the weather isn't warm enough by me to really think about it being warm in other places. Lol! I figure worse case is it being reshipped from company.
I've had more issues with too cold weather and packages.

If I was getting a bunch of softer lipstick I'd consider it. Like the normal bite formula can't handle heat. Most other stuff will survive. My How bout them Apples palette arrived pretty melty after sitting in my mailbox on a long hot sunny day, but I just refrained from sticking my fingers in it until it had cooled off and it was fine. I've found that most cream products won't actually run out of the pans.

I'm still doing makeup, but gravitating towards warm palettes: golds, coppers, corals. Loving the BECCA rose gold. And I've fallen back in love with Naked2.

I'm already starting to dread my trip to China in a few weeks. It's going to be 90% humidity, so I know nothing will stay on my face. I wonder if I should even bother with anything other than BB cream.
So, I sometimes check my Sephora 'purchased' list to get a color name for FOTD. I've noticed random products in my purchased list that I have not purchased. On the first page, there is a Clinique set and a face brush - neither of which I've purchased. Anyone else experience that?

The only thing that marginally stayed on my face in that type of humidity was eyeshadow. My foundation melted off. I felt so gross and sticky too. :/
I've been on a no buy for a little while. I wasn't even sad about it because I felt like I had all I needed.
The Jaclyn Hill Becca highlighter made me break it. I cannot wait to highlight my whole damn face!!!
I had to stop watching the tutorial she did a few days ago when she used it and just started yelling "fleek!" Her high energy perky thing doesn't usually bother me, but that was just...no. too much. stop it.
