Does anybody read the live feed updates or watch the feeds? I want to talk about them so badly, so I will start in the next comment. If you are just watching the tv show, do not scroll down and read my next comment!!!

I am so excited. This has turned the whole game around for me. I now am going to enjoy watching the week's developments pan out, and I can hardly wait to read later today about the veto.
In case you didn't know, on Fridays nominations are made, then veto will likely be today with the veto ceremony on Monday.
James got HOH, and he put Clay and Shelli up. I am so excited. The funniest is the way that Shelli has handled it, just whining about how they will be split up before jury. She even wants Big Brother to start jury a week early (AS IF).
James' big idea this week is that he wants to make a big move, not waste his HOH. He was talking to Steve, who asked if he was the target. James' reply? Sorry, Steve, but you're not exactly a heavy hitter.
By the way, he and Shelli were the final two for the HOH, and he made a deal not to put Shelli and Clay up, but he says, "This is Big Brother. You can bounce checks," esp. because of the Dark Moon.
I watch bb after dark sometimes, and listen to rob has a podcast, so I usually know what is going on. I am so happy they ended battle of the block and somebody not in 6th sense won hoh. I was sad to see Jason go. I thought he was funny and added interest to the game. I would love to see the two sides continue to go back and forth battling each othe. This can happen if somebody from the 6th sense gets evicted.

I love Rob has a Podcast, and I watch Evel Dick's show on Vimeo.
Yay, James won veto, too.
I think it is so dumb that Clay is campaigning for everybody to vote him out and keep Shelli. But what can you expect when you recruit empty-headed but dumb people for the game? (I'm talking about how there are real fans like Jason and Ian who love the game, then recruits like Clay and Shelli.)
I want Shelli to go so badly, but I think the only way it will happen is for James to put up Vanessa. If he leaves noms the same, Clay will probably go because it's easy for his alliance to do as he wishes, plus Shelli has done better overall in comps.
James' goal should be for Shelli to go. If Shelli stays, she's going to be out for blood against James, whereas I could see Clay aligning with Meg or not being fully with the sixth sense anymore.
People on websites are commenting on how John and Becky are lapdogs for Clay and Shelli Can't figure out why.
Vanessa's smoking something if she thinks James will put up Becky or Steve. He knows he has to take out one of the alliance, and he's not going to waste his HOH on Becky or Steve.
The ideal for me would be Liz vs. Shelli because I can't stand either one of them. That'd be a close vote. I think Liz would go 5-4. Liz would get Julia, Austin, Meg, and Jackie's votes, but I could see Shelli sweeping the rest. That might be smart overall because I definitely could see Liz getting F2 a la Porsche.
I read spoiler sites because I usually can't wait to find out who the noms are, who wins veto, etc. Plus a lot of the times the show edits things that occur that I wouldn't have known about if I didn't read the spoiler sites.
I am so glad Clay and Shelli are on the block and that James has won veto. If everyone was smart they would vote Shelli out because she is good in comps and has a really annoying and sucky personality. But they also need to break up the twins and Austin, so honestly I wouldn't much care if either Shelli or Liz went home this week. My preference would be Shelli.

I think that James is not going to use the veto. If he does, Clay will be replaced with Vanessa. That's actually his best move, but he's not going to see that in time.
I find it funny that James gave Shelli and Clay a chance to talk to him and sell out Vanessa. They didn't do it, instead talking about Austin's alter ego Judas and his hinky vote for Audrey. How dumb.
Clay's an insult to the game, telling people to vote him out over Shelli. I hope everybody realizes that she should be voted out. Shelli/Vanessa staying in the game is dangerous. I can't stand Shelli or Liz.
The entitlement from Shelli this week has been staggering. I guess she even wanted BB to start jury a week early, and I also read that Vanessa complained in the DR about Battle of the Block ending. Too bad, so sad.
Last night's episode really revealed Becky as a rat. I am hoping that James and his group will tell Austin that Shelli and Clay were trying to get him nominated and evicted. There needs to be a final blowup of Sixth Sense.
Unfortunately, I think Shelli will stay. It's easy to see that she and Vanessa will dominate the game. James is very at risk this week.
I'm not sure, but the houseguests think double eviction is next week. It could be this week, but it seems like we would've been told about it by now, probably with the dumb phrasing "a whole week of Big Brother in one night" that's been used before.
Good point. Julie Chen would have told us it would double eviction week during last week's live show. Here is hoping she teases it on this week's live show!
Unfortunately I think Clay is going to be a huge idiot and fall on his sword for Shelli because love, being a gentleman, blah blah blah.

This week is going to be like last week---good, but not as great as it could've been.
Becky won HOH and wants Vanessa gone. The only problem is that she put up Steve and Shelli. I'd say that if the twins or Austin win veto, they will leave nominations the same out of fear that one of them could go up.
At least this way, Vanessa's minions Clay and Shelli can't save her with the veto. I want Vanessa out of the way, then they can get rid of a useless twin.
Peace out Vanessa (I hope). She is so paranoid and I think people are starting to get tired of her. Since Shelli knows Vanessa is the target, presuming Vanessa is put up as the renom, Shelli should lie low and thank her lucky stars she gets one more week.
I hate when they bring back an evicted houseguest.

I hope Vanessa and Shelli both go on Thursday.
James, Meg, and Jackie have decided that they want Shelli to go because it's better for their game. Shelli will target James first, while Vanessa will probably target Becky first. It buys them an extra week.
I like Vanessa's personality a bit more than Shelli's, so this latest development doesn't bother me. Shelli's just so smug and entitled I'd love for her to be blindsided.
Jackie, Meg, and James see how much Becky seems to love Shelli, and they think she would unite with Steve/Johnny Mac/Austwins and marginalize them.
They're probably right in their reasoning, including that Shelli's more likely to win the double eviction HOH.
If they both go home on the double eviction night, that would be just fine with me! I could see the logic on getting Shelli out first, but I couldn't imagine living with Vanessa and her game paranoia.

The trio's probably making a good move getting rid of Shelli. She has a better social game and more connections than Vanessa. V said that she's going after Becky and then maybe Johnny Mac and Steve. This is a recent development where Vanessa thinks Steve sold her out, so he's dead to her.
Shelli has made a few really stupid moves since she's thought she's safe. She's going around smug and entitled and tweaked James by taking some sweater, letting him know that she'll do any bitchy little thing to bother him. James, Jackie, and Meg are probably correct that Becky will align with Shelli after this, even against them. I don't know that they're sure enough that Becky's first loyalty is to them.
We probably won't be lucky enough to have Shelli and Vanessa out on the same night. DE have never been THAT great. I'd love to see Johnny Mac win and put up Vanessa and a twin. His plan, though, from what I have heard is to put up a twin and backdoor Austin (but that was when he thought Vanessa would be gone).
I am worried for Johnny Mac and Steve on DE night.
Honestly if I were HOH for the second eviction on DE night, I would put up both twins against each other because even if Austin won POV, he could only save one of them. Then I'd put up a pawn against the remaining twin (if one of them came down) and have the twin evicted hopefully. It would break up that threesome and further be a dent in the Sixth Sense.
Post by oscarnerdjulief on Aug 13, 2015 11:20:23 GMT -5
I agree that there needs to be a bigger dent in 6th sense, and they need to break up the Austwins before it's too late.
I guess JJM are now flip-flopping and may keep Shelli. It really doesn't matter. Either way they're going to be in the crosshairs. I marginally support Vanessa going so that Johnny Mac is safer.
It's funny that Big Brother has so few twists this year, but the ones they do have could REALLY screw up the game: #1 the twins and #2 a houseguest coming back. I'm going to be beyond p.o.ed if the trio works so hard to get one of them out, then they come back.
Maybe JJM will split in the voting. Jackie and Meg could vote out Vanessa, and James could vote out Shelli because it's better for his personal game. I doubt it, but it possibly could happen. I think that they will decide whom to vote out very late in the day, like an hour or two before eviction.
There's a houseguest coming back? I must have missed that in the spoilers I read (or I read an incomplete spoiler site, or I didn't listen to the actual broadcasts, LOL).

I am so nervous for tonight. Johnny Mac has a huge chance of being the one out the door (2nd eviction). I am very thrown by Jackie supposedly saying that she will vote out John over Vanessa if they're both up, or that she would put them up. If the trio goes that route, they're stupid and deserve to lose.
I think Vanessa wins the game if she survives tonight.
Julie Chen said that a jury member may have a chance to come back. Typically, there are four jury members competing for a chance to return. This may be a great thing if James and/or Johnny Mac go tonight or in the coming wks.

What spoiler site(s) do you read?
I read Fans of Reality Tv and Jokers Updates and listen to Afterbuzz, Rob Has a Podcast, and Evel Dick's show "Dick at Nite." "Big Brother Gossip Show" is funny, too. Of those, Afterbuzz is probably the weakest.

From what I have read, Steve's weirdness during and after his HOH may have been an act. Seems like he's all in with the twins and Vanessa, even after making things right with James and Meg.
I was kinda hopeful when I knew that it was 4 against 4: Vanessa and Austwins against Meg, James, John, and Becky. But Liz is HOH. Becky and JOhn are probably going to be on the block with James as a fallback.
Sigh. Having the twins is going to majorly bite them in the butt. I've been predicting Liz to be in final two for awhile.

I agree. I was so excited for the DE episode, and it ended up being so boring. I can't imagine my keeping up with it as much from here on out since school starts next wk.
The only bit of interest is that Liz is talking about how she doesn't really like Vanessa all that much. It'd be great if she were backdoored I read something about how Liz wants to talk to James and Meg. It'd be neat if they could work together, but at this point that ship has sailed. At this point, I'd rather Johnny and Becky make it far than James and Meg.
I want Johnny Mac to stay in the game. If he wins veto, I wonder who they'll put up as a replacement nom - Austwins would probably put up James, right? They're going to run away with the rest of the season if someone from the Other Side of the house doesn't win HOH next.

What's unfortunate is that Liz and Austin are fed up big time with Vanessa, but they are probably not going to get her out this week. They KNOW that, barring a Vanessa HOH or veto win next week, anyone will get her out next week. They're getting to the point where they can backdoor Vanessa; anyone who would win veto would use it and they'd get her up and out.
Liz doesn't want to get Vanessa out this week because she thinks that she'll lose her jury vote, plus she knows how persuasive Vanessa can be. Why should Liz get her out and take the hit (I refuse to use the "blood on her hands" cliche) if literally anybody else in the house will do it next week?
Liz is right to see herself in front of a jury. I'd be shocked if she isn't in the final two. And to be honest, if Liz changes her mind and gets Vanessa out, well, she deserves to win the game. She's won two comps and taken out the best player.
I could not get behind a Julia or Meg win because they haven't done anything. (However, when Liz won the HOH early on that was then taken over by Vanessa after BoB, was that Liz or Julia?)
Austwins are helped by the fact that James and Meg seem to be charmed by them and want to work on them. I could see Austwins pitting James/Meg and the floaters against each other, letting each group believing they're with them.
They might be better players than I thought. Austin hasn't been nominated yet, right?
Correct, Austin hasn't been up on the block yet, it was close though, once.
It may well be in their best interest to hold off on sending Vanessa to jury, however, you never know what can happen in a week, alliances fall apart, friendships fall apart and it could swing things in another direction.
I may be overthinking this(!) but if they take out Vanessa too late, they risk her getting back into the house coming immediately, guns ablaze. If they take her out earlier, she'll have been in the jury house long enough for the fire to have died down a bit, ya know? I know one thing - I wouldn't want to be in the jury house with her, she's so focused on strategy talk!
Vanessa's smart, she's a good player in terms of comps and strategies, I could see her going to jury and getting back in, winning HOH and playing to win, alliance schmaliance.
As for Julia, I really don't know if she ever competed in a comp as Liz! Now I wonder!
Post by oscarnerdjulief on Aug 15, 2015 12:30:28 GMT -5
If I saw a screenshot or YouTube/CBS clip of the comp, I could probably tell. Once I knew Julia and Liz were twins, it was often easy to tell them apart.
I see your point re Vanessa, but she's going to be guns blazing no matter what. She's SO WEIRD.
