As my scale hit 170 this morning, which means I have gained 25lbs at 23 weeks and the ladies on my BMB are freaks who have only gained 10lbs, please humor me with how much weight you gained during your pregnancy, ideally your first one.
I have gained 10 lbs and I am only 15 weeks. My BMB hasnt gained any weight and are still all saying they lost weight. Each week I just get heavier and heavier. I wonder where I will end up when its all over. I am juts trying to eat as good as possible and figure if I am gaining the weight the baby must need it.

I was at 10lbs at 16 weeks, welcome to my camp!
My doctor hasnt said anything to me yet but I wonder each appointment if we are going to have the conversation about me gaining too much weight. I havent asked him yet though because I dont want to hear the answer. I really like food. Its all I have now that my alcohol was taken away.

With my first, I gained 42lbs and delivered at 36w. I ate healthy and worked out until around 32 weeks, then I just stuck to walking 2 miles or so every day until the day before I delivered. I worked out every day before getting pregnant then, too, so I was in really good shape when i started.
This time, I hadn't been working out much before getting pregnant. I started off at the same weight. I'm 10 wks, have gained 2.5 lbs (I think I was at around 7 this time last pregnancy). I've been a little sicker this time than last, so definitely haven't been eating as much.
With my first, I was pregnant through the summer and gave birth in early September. I think I retained a lot of water because of the heat, which was pretty intense that year. It also might have had something to do with all of the ice cream I ate

42lbs. My weight gain slowed a bit towards the end since I add a bit more of an effort to watch what I was eating. I worked out pretty intensely until 2 days before he was born and I felt pretty good during the pregnancy. I used to get stabby at those weight convos on my BMB, too. Try not to let it bother you and hopefully the weights listed here will help
I gained 45 lbs. during my pregnancy, and delivered at 39 weeks. My OB never mentioned anything to me about gaining too much, although at the beginning, they said that they wouldn't say anything unless it got out of control, and to just remember that I'll have to lose it all later.
I gained 17 pounds. I was one of those weirdos who craved healthy foods during pregnancy. I usually have a huge sweet tooth and totally lost it the minute I got my BFP. I did stay very active, which I'm sure helped.
I don't understand people who lie about the weight gain. SIL was one of those who lied about how much she gained. I'm not blind
OK, but who lied here? Are you implying the people on the OP's BMB are lying? I was still down a few pounds at 16ish weeks because I threw up everything I ate. I think by 23 weeks (where the OP is) I was just breaking even again...
I'm now 35w3d and up 10 pounds from pre-pregnancy weight (about 15 from my low point after losing weight from vomiting).
I gained....well i'm not sure. I stopped looking at the scale after I surpassed 50 pounds. What was hard about it was that it happened fast - I lost a few pounds in the beginning, then gained I think the final 40 pounds after week 30. The pounds just kept packing on no matter how much I exercised, what I ate, etc.
I was up 33 pounds at 31 weeks. I'm sure my appointment this week will show that I'm up at least 35-38. I know I have gained more weight in the last two weeks...
God this makes me feel better. Whenever this comes up on my BMB everyone is like "I've lost 5 pounds at 32 weeks!" Not that it doesn't happen, but seriously the proportion of bumpies who apparently lose weight or gain less than 10 pounds at 7-8 months pregnant seems insane.
I also figure a fair amount of those women are obese by BMI standards. This will sound bitchy, but one woman on my BMB always says she has lost weight while pregnant. A few days ago, she changed her signature picture to one of her pregnant self; she is a very large woman. Others on my BMB who are still down from pre-preg. weight have also said they were "heavier than average" or plus-sized from the start. I was technically overweight by BMI standards pre-preg. (27) but wore size small tops and 6/8 pants. For me, acid reflux has kept my weight gain incredibly low. I have had to really work to take in enough calories.

I have gained 11 pounds and I am going to be 21 weeks tomorrow. My doctor gave me a hard time about my weight gain but I think I am doing good.
I didn't have any m/s during the first trimester and I am hungry ALL the time. I am not going to not eat when I am hungry but I usually eat pretty healthy.
I started to gain weight during the first trimester while the majority of the girls on my BMB lost a lot.

First pregnancy- 32lbs, delivered at 39 wks
Second pregnancy- 20lbs, delivered at 39.1 wks. Same starting weight
And I totally done gain weight like a normal pregnant person. I gained really early on (like up 12 lbs by the end of first tri both times) then really slowed down or lost weight post 32 wks. The only reason I gained so little with my second is that I had such horrible acid reflux that I was starting to aspirating my food and could only eat very small meals.
I gained 9lbs net and delivered at 39w1d. I was slightly overweight when I got pregnant but lost 10lbs the first trimester and gained that plus 9lbs back through the rest of the pregnancy.
My Dr was happy with my weight gain since she wanted me to be under 20lbs for the entire pregnancy.

I gained almost 40 lbs. with DD. I started off with a pretty healthy BMI (21-22 ish). So far with this one, I am up 13 lbs. at 23 weeks (but I started 10 lbs. heavier )
