At 15w4d I can say that I have OFFICIALLY graduated from my RE!!!! I'm fully weaned off my prometrium/PIO combo and next week I start weaning off my metformin. I cried when I said good bye to my nurse and phlebotemist today. They each had little something for DD too which was SO nice and unexpected.
ssg73 so glad you had a great appointment! I'm very impressed with your restraint to not peek! That alone is worth finding out what the baby is And YAY for great news on your DW's BP!
ginkgoleaf congrats on a great scan too! Is your DS excited about the babies?
Yes, he is thrilled about "his" babies. He really wanted twins and one of each, so he is getting everything he wanted.
This is definitely something to rejoice. I find this is a concern more often at this stage in the game. I had a close call earlier and got excited that the sneeze didn't cause me to pee.
Has anyone had their birthday since becoming pregnant? I don't know if it's anxiety about my follow up anatomy scan on Tuesday or what, but I am have a very hard time enjoying my birthday today. I feel like my life is in limbo just waiting to make sure the baby is okay.

Happy birthday!
My birthday was sandwiched between ER and ET, so I wasn't pregnant. But I definitely felt a little more stressed out and pressure for that cycle to work.
I had a birthday when I was 4ish months. I don't remember it, but my birthday doesn't tend to be a big deal to me anyhow. I'm certain it was better than my 35th.
Oh, wait! I remember. H took me to a show. It was fantastic.

Happy birthday boiler717! I was about 15 weeks on my birthday. It was our first relaxing weekend at home after weeks and weeks of traveling. It was awesome. I ate a lot of pie.
I haven't been pregnant on my birthday and won't this time either. I totally get being preoccupied worrying till your next appointment though... I still check for spotting after using the bathroom. Guess old habits die hard.
I was pregnant on my birthday with DD and will be again on my birthday in a couple weeks. It's weird for me, I don't know what I want to do, nor is there really anything that I want. We are going on a babymoon/last vacation as a family of 3 trip in November so I just told DH I want to wait and get something there. It's weird, I'm so excited about the baby that it's taking all my focus.
I also feel like since I had DD my birthdays are actually more exciting for her so they're just different.

I randomly hit up Pottery Barn Kids at lunch, and they had a floor sample rocker on sale for 75% off. They said they just got it in, it has no damage, it's perfect, it's mine. Thanks universe - I needed a win this week!

Had my first appointment with my dr at the MTF today. I got a huge surprise when he did an ultrasound along with using the Doppler for the HB. Baby is looking good and the heart rate around 160. My H was in awe watching the baby movement. We don't know if the dr was trying to give us a hint that it's a girl because he kept referring to "she" even after I had mentioned I always use "he". I go back in 4 weeks and then we'll schedule my level 2 AS with the MFM.
I was worried at first since I didn't get an NT scan and they only do the quad screening upon request but I like the dr and I feel much better now. Once I see the MFM they work together and decide if I need to continue to see both of them and if I need to get on heparin for my Factor V Leiden.

Happy birthday @broiler717. I will be 6 months pregnant at my birthday in January. It will probably will be stressful.
ginkgoleaf- I will check for blood when I wipe all the way until the end probably. :/ Urg!
I worked night shift last night and those are going to be tough going forward. I felt like I was going to die from lack of sleep last night. I came home and slept from 8:30-1:15, and I still don't feel that great. I jus don't want to sleep too long as I need to switch into day shift mode for tomorrow. Stupid shift work!
Happy Birthday, boiler717! I'm sorry you're feeling anxious and a bit down. I hope you can have a little fun and you can celebrate again after you get reassuring news on Tuesday. It is your birthday month after all! Hugs.
Great news, lms! It's fun to get an unexpected peek.
This morning DD was excited because she thought my appointment automatically meant new pictures of the baby. She gave me a pouty face when I told her probably not this time. I texted her one of the pictures we got to cheer her up. Seeing it made her day. I'll show her the others Monday evening. She really likes being involved. I wish I had a chance to take her to an appointment with me. Maybe I'll get an appointment around Thanksgiving or Christmas when she's not in school.

Happy birthday!
I was 10 weeks pregnant on my birthday and spent most of the day with my head in the toilet. I did not enjoy it at all, so I sympathise. Can you plan something nice to do after the scan? You're more likely to want to celebrate after getting the all clear.
loira, I didn't even think to ask you this! Any chance you guys are close to the Natural History Museum? Your H is in London for a little bit still, right? We're trying to replace a shirt from there in a bigger size, and it would be $60 to buy online. Lol.

We're not close to the Natural History Museum, but we do go there occasionally. Not sure if H is planning on going in the next 3 months, but I'll ask.

Whew I made it through my first shower! My grandma is in hospice so we moved it up to today and had it at her nursing home. There were only about 10 of us. I asked that any games we play be things like see who has a sticker on their plate so grandma could participate -- no hard word games or memory games since she had dementia. My aunt was annoyed we didn't have "real" games. AYFKM?? The shower was more for my grandma than anything. Anyways, I'm glad we had a chance to celebrate the baby while she was having a good day.

What a special day with your grandma! That's so thoughtful of you.
