A friend of mine joked that Bernie should have tried for lottery tickets like the rest of us, instead of 1% tickets. I said I'd start caucusing for the man if he promised free Hamilton tickets to all.

Like, wtf?!?! Bernie is not like Hamilton. And I like Bernie. 

My husband and I had a long discussion and decided Bernie would probably get along best with John Adams. Irascible, New Englander, kinda favors letting other people make all the plans in government, close with his intellectual wife, etc.

Unlike the other actors JG spends most of his time singing from one location - he just stands center stage and sings his heart out... He also enunciates like crazy and spit all over the folks sitting in the center of the first four rows during his songs. They just had to take it. lol

The "and Peggy!" is kind of that joke! But IRL, Peggy and Hamilton were really close friends. Not like Angelica, but they were very brotherly/sisterly with each other.

Also, I read that lyric on Genius, and LMM made it a play to have people be like, "LOLWUT, Mulligan might fuck horses too?!" But I didn't think it needed that. Historically, horse thievery was a BIG FUCKING DEAL. Like you would 100% be put to death for stealing a horse. So he's just showing how badass he is! He'll fuck your daughters and STEAL YOUR HORSE!

Ha H keeps saying "okay we can get tickets" and I'm like, WITH WHAT MONEY lol.  I don't think he realized how expensive they were. 

I made my mom listen to the entire musical while she was visiting last weekend (with my commentary splashed throughout) and she has told me to "plan a trip and she'll pay for tickets." Umm I'm not sure she realizes that they're going for $700+? LOL.
