What is Hamilton?

jeaniebueller, Motown was phenomenal. Of course you know I'm biased, but I thought it rocked. There's only one or two songs made up for the musical, the rest are snippets and medleys of the real songs. They do a great job telling the stories behind the songs, and the actors were great.

Broadway in Detroit has Les Miserables announced in the 2017-18 season, but I haven't seen dates listed yet.

Folks that have seen this recently - were people singing along? My BIL saw it (in NYC?) and said that people in the audience were singing along and I was horrified. He said he didn't mind, but now I'm scared for the LA shows. But no one sang at Leslie Odom's concert, so maybe I shouldn't worry?

Did you buy extra Hamilton tickets? I want to get another two for my brother and his girlfriend in addition to the 4 I got for my mom, dad, brother, and uncle.

No one was singing along when I saw it in NYC a few weeks ago.

In NYC in Jan, no singing. Chicago last night, no singing

No singing in NY in December either. I would be mortified if people were singing along :-(

I am taking my son to see it in Chicago in August and I have already started telling him that we can sing along at home or in my car but not in the theater.

I saw it in SF 2 weeks ago and no one sang. The audience lost it at "immigrants, we get the job done" but that was the only time people made noise during a song.

Lol no worries... I'm planning on getting more tix during the general sale. I didn't mean that I wanted yours thanks for being open though, I'm a ticket hoarder lol
