Holy shit. I can't stop watching, you guys. I'm so glad I didn't discover this until after work otherwise I really wouldn't have done shit all afternoon.
Between these clips and the Ryan Lochte nonsense, my day was a complete waste.
Um, have y'all been checking on the YouTube account cbwm1 posted earlier? ALL of Hamilton has been uploaded, including "Tomorrow There Will Be More of Us". The sound quality is utter crap but it's awesome being able to see how things are staged. I loved seeing the transition in "Satisfied" and DS is thrilled to see all his favorite songs. He's been dancing around to "The Reynolds Pamphlet" like a madman all morning. Watch it now before it all disappears.

I don't want to spoil it, bc the staging is always a big reveal. But it's so cool to see!
I feel like seeing everything now will make the performance we see even more enjoyable because I won't be trying to look at everything going on on stage. Idk. That might just be me, though.

This is truly my reason for watching the videos. I have poor eyesight and it's not easy for me to pick up on everything, especially facial features at a distance. And I don't know if I'll even manage to get tickets to see it in person!
Random thought --- Typically, the season at our theater runs from fall to mid-summer. This upcoming season, however, Hamilton runs well into the fall/early winter of next year. It's effectively running halfway into what should be the 2017-2018 season. It makes me wonder if they're setting it up to have a super extended run like Wicked did in the early 2000s. I think that ended up running uninterrupted for 2 or 3 seasons straight.

I would bet most of the cities running Hamilton will expect it to run for a while! :-P
I was thinking of the discussions of how things might be different because it seems like Lin wrote some of parts knowing he had LOJ...but LOJ wasn't the original Burr. I have no idea why I came here to say this, but I would have loved to see Utkarsh Ambudkar as Aaron Burr. All I can think of is him as Donald in Pitch Perfect so I'd be interested to see his take on it.

Who was original Burr?

Technically. I wonder how much changed between the original writing and what appeared Off Broadway.
