FYI, they don't open the doors til about 25 min before curtain (security: bag search) so the lines are insane - to the end of the block in both directions. They keep everyone moving, but don't be alarmed when you see the crowds. So if you don't mind standing for a bit, aim to get there a little extra early. You'll be surrounded by other fans to chat with!
It was amazing. Amazing. I actually got TOO excited. My anxiety started acting up, I got hot flashes, and kind of felt like I was going to barf most of the time because I was too worked up. My husband wanted to kill me because I used my program as a fan 50% of the second act. Don't care it was the only thing that could keep my anxiety at bay.
But I digress. Brandon is amazing. His Room Where it Happens was so fucking impressive, I was speechless. CJ's voice shakes the theatre. It is SO strong. Lexi is absolutely amazing. Javi is everything- great on the big songs, super funny at just the right moments. And Seth and Andrew were great as Jefferson/Madison. I don't believe Anthony Ramos and JCJ get enough credit for how great they are.
And Renee. Oh, Renee. She was amazing. And she was a puddle during curtain call. I cried, too.
It was such a blur. It's one of those things that the second it's over, you feel like it was just a dream that you struggle to remember. I'm so glad we got to go and can't wait to be back in January.

I was hoping for an update!!! This is amazing!
I have read a lot about Brandon, and had a feeling he'd be fantastic! And of course, Javi, CJ, Lexi, Anthony, and JCJ are rock stars :-) While it's hard to have the original cast leave, it's fun to know that amazing replacements are usually waiting in the wings :-P
Did you see Javi's goodbye to Renee on FB? He is so sweet and soft spoken. I love how this cast adores each other!
I bet it was tough for Renee so I can only imagine what her curtain call was like! I'm so sad that we don't get to see her in Dec, but I'm also thrilled that she's got such big things on the horizon!
I imagine it is one of those things that you never want to end....so when it does end, you're like when can I see it again? (which luckily for you is January)!!
Hope you have a great weekend in NYC! Are you guys sticking around?

Yes! We're actually here til Tuesday! I'm having my first GBCN meet up today. I'd better look my best
I think some folks on here have used stubhub and the ticketmaster resale bc those are guaranteed. I was lucky enough to get tix when they released more at ticketmaster the night of the Tonys.
We were center rear mezz, row B, seats 107 and 108 (dead center). Great seats. The only issue was sometimes the person in front of me got in the way of the dead center right at the front of the stage. Didn't bother me.
In January, were in left front mezz, row D, far left aisle.

Sounds great! I've heard there really isn't a bad seat!
We're Center Orchestra, Row U (105 & 106 I think).
For those who have recently gotten tickets, how did you do it? StubHub? Ticketmaster resale? I'm so nervous that I would buy fakes.
We used scorebig.com and felt we got "deal" when we went in July. I used ebates too so even got some cash back. My heart stopped upon entering the theater when he scanned our tickets from sheer terror something was going to happen but we had no problems at all.

My BFF and I have almost those exact same seats for February! Save
Stubhub is guaranteed. I went to LMM's second to last show and heard someone had fake tickets bought through Stubhub and they couldn't get them into that show but offered to fly them back for a later show. Hat is very rare that they are fake though but they will make it right.

I went to lunch at a Chinese place with coworkers today. The last dishes to come out were 3 orders of General Tso's chicken. When the server came out, the guy next to me said, "Here comes the general."
It was so hard not to start singing. Knowing this guy, it wasn't intentional, either.
I just needed to share with people that would understand.
Also, I don't know if they've been posted, but DD and I found YouTube videos of Hamilton songs set to My Little Pony clips. Some of them are GENIUS.
I'm going on Friday... I'm excited to see the new cast and to see Anthony Ramos who I missed the first time. I've been on a Hamilton fast for months, so I can't wait to hear the music again.

Oooooohh, please report back on the new Angelica! I saw an old Ham 4 Ham she did, and I'm feeling pretty confident that she'll be amazing!
