I'm so sad and shocked to read this. Clearly I have zero bullshit detector because I suspected nothing off about her at all. I thought she was so sweet. Ooops!

I'm not completely surprised but this is a lot worse that I expected. I remember seeing some reviews on her FB business page that made her seem a little off...
I know normal procedure is to delete posts if a poster requests it. However, given the level of deceit in regards to soliciting money for an alleged dying/dead daughter, it doesn't feel appropriate to erase all traces. Others may feel differently about it but it does feel like extenuating circumstances in this situation. On the other hand, past precedent and all that...

WTF is wrong with people. This is horrible. I hope she gets the help she needs.
I am so cynical and working to be less so and was impressed with her business. While it seems legit (the money seems claims to make seems very high) how can you not question everything else about her? I was thinking about doing a free web audit on her site as I thought there would be some room for improvement to increase her conversion rate. I am happy I did not get involved.
Why do the crazies keep on doing this kind of shit?
I always got an off vibe (like, I lived in Tucson previously and always avoided mentioning it, as I didn't want to meet up in person), but I'm pretty shocked that she has apparently practiced this kind of fraud with this community. That's really sick.
Also, those of you that are friends on FB and haven't defriended, has she gone on a massive defriending spree?
I don't think so. I am just catching up on all of this since I've been out running errands this morning so I *just* defriended her. When I did so it said we had two mutual friends (pugz and zarapipe ). So she hasn't unfriended everyone from on here.
ETA: This wasn't meant as a call out to them for still being friend with her. I love both those women! This was more of a "Hey, heads up you might want to think about un-friending."
I dunno if they worked or not, that's all I'm saying. They were yummy and made me fat but may or may not have increased my supply lols.
CC: @starry
I was really worried about getting flamed andwhat . And celiac mom was nice to me despite her cookies not working. countthestars and I had an exchange a few months ago when we used them confirming they didn't really seem to work. But I PM'd with others who said they DID work so I was kind of .... not sure it warranted a call out. We both agreed to never use them again.
ETA: TO CLARIFY BEING NICE TO ME IS NOT ENOUGH FOR ME TO SUPPORT HER NOW. Just at the time before I had the information I have now.
To be fair, I have low milk supply issues and a ton of things that work for other people don't work for me. So I wouldn't bat an eye at something not working for one person but for the other. I also probably wouldn't have complained on here either if I had bought them and they didn't work, but I have not tried MNC.
The cookies aren't gluten free, are they? Isn't it weird to make wheat-filled cookies in your home kitchen if you have legit celiac? Cross contamination and all of that?
(Not the point of all of this, I know. LOL. It just seems strange.)
She is the one with the alleged celiac. She talked about it constantly on our knot wedding month board when she posted as stormchasersbride. It wasn't soon after she allegedly got married that she was divorcing her DH (pre-ds). We received a note from another knot member who warned us that she was teachkinder. Drama ensued.
When she came back as Celiacmom and posted her first pic of herself other month board members brought this to my attention and I pm'ed the mod here at the time. Apparently the global mods were notified? But that was over a year ago.
Oh, another gross thing she did was pretend that she was BFFs with Gabby Giffords and narrowly missed the rally where Giffords was gunned down.
This doesn't shock me. After a made up dead daughter, what's one little lie about a near miss with tragedy? People who lie/exaggerate for attention tend to do it frequently and in a variety of ways, from little lies to huge ones.

Okay. I think I've caught up with reading. No request for mass deletion has been made, so a non-issue for now. From there, if she's banned per pixy's request she couldn't ask for that. I will defer to admins on this one.

Hmmm....I'm here now and this is interesting. We've never said no to deleting post history before (with the exception of enforcing our pre-existing delay when Booby asked and then refused to provide any proof she was being harassed at work). Even in Booby's case, she was able to get proboards to do the delete, which we cannot control.
I'm inclined to ban this poster in a day or two, which would give her time to come back and defend herself if she wants to. But I'm open to convincing.

I just ... my mind doesn't even go there. I can only handle telling the honest to God truth, or staying quiet while my face tells the honest to God truth. There's no grey. How do people remember their web of lies?

eclaires has information she's happy to share with you and the other mods that will likely make you feel very comfortable with a swift and permanent ban.

OK, I am multi tasking (in a meeting now) and confused about one part, so this may be a dumb Q.
Teachkinder made up a story about a deceased child that never existed? Then the same poster came here as celiac mom... who also is the person in the article who made up a story about a child having cancer?
My question is, the lady in the article who had multiple children, and those kids were interviewed. Celiacmom only has the one boy, right? Do we know which kids are real?
also, remember when she hijacked HoneySpider 's through the heart auction, saying she'd donate 25% of her sales for her damn cookies to TTH? ew.
(i realize this is nothing in comparison to faking a child death/etc., but just that she had the nerve to piggyback on HS is grossing me out.)
This makes me wonder whether TTH ever got a check. And didn't she buy LLR clothing from people on here? Did payment for that go through?
My mind is blown that someone conned the board using her real name and likeness. Hadn't people on here met her? This is nuts.
She hired me to make a website for her (which she has since had redone, I didn't do the design that's currently on her site), and really did pay me, so I hope like hell that TTH got their money, too.
disgusting, seriously. you should be deeply ashamed.
Girl there is probably no ex-husband or if there is things probably didn't go down as she said. I had my suspicions because the story was sooo crazy but I already stir up enough shit so I kept that to PMs lol.
She had all the classic markings of a catfish/ scam artist/ asshole on the internet.
1) Shows up makes a BIG scene and leaves ( extreme attachment parenting post ) 2) Comes back, feels bad, wants to make friends (now she's luring people in ) 3) HAS TRAGEDY!! SOB STORY NEEDS SUPPORT! 4) Makes money off the board off of tragedy ( since she actually sent to cookies the whole boo hoo act was just a fucking scam marketing technique to get people to buy her fucking cookies ) 5) Has EXTREME stories of ( in her case exaggerated wealth and success) some sort to further her image/ keep her relevant
I have been suspect from the jump. But I never ever suspected the fake dead kid thing. That's BEYOND.
