I found out yesterday mid-day that I have to be out of town for work on Tuesday, so I left work early yesterday and utilized early voting. Took 20 min and saw two people I know.
Out of about 10 races, I got to vote for 7 awesome women candidates (some of which were also minority religion or Native American candidates). I bet they would all bring a lot to office with their outstanding qualifications!
I dropped off my ballot yesterday at a drive through and was sad not to get a sticker! Today I checked on our county's website and was able to see that my ballot has officially been received and processed! Tuesday can't get here fast enough. I'm actually feeling more excited than anything else at this point!
My first time early voting in my state. I used to always do absentee ballot. I'd heard of long wait times, but I only had to wait for a parking spot. I was able to get in and out quickly. Since it wasn't my neighborhood polling place, I was worried I wouldn't see it to turn in, but there were like 3,000 lawn signs and a news camera crew at the gates, so it was very obvious.

I voted yesterday! Had the day off, so my husband and I went and voted and took our son with us. I teared up a bit as I filled in that bubble - I'm not sure I've ever filled in a ballot so carefully yet aggressively, ha. We both got stickers, and my son got a Future Voter sticker that he will be sporting whenever we leave the house. I wore my Nasty Women Vote shirt, but covered it up with a hoodie so none of the Olds in my town got upset.
The town clerk told the person in front of us, "ok, you're all set - now you don't have to pay attention to the ads anymore!" And I let out a snort, because man. If only it was that easy.
Early birthday present to myself: my voter selfie! It took all of 5 minutes and I legitimately teared up walking back to my car. My first time voting was for Barack Obama and now Hillary. It feels good.

I voted last night. I got my sticker and so did my daughter. I've been wearing one of my three Hillary shirts almost every day and changed into something else before I went and left my Girls just wanna have Fundamental rights purse in the car.
I filled out my ballot on Halloween, dropped it off in a drop box at the library the next day, and just confirmed online that it was received, signature verified, and will be counted. Woohoo!
The lady that took my form made my day - she asked if I was a first time voter. Um no, I am double that age and I wanted to hug her (I feel old and worn out after two kids) but didn't think that would be appropriate.
Voted today with DD in tow! Waited in line for 30 minutes at the second early voting location we went to. The first one had a terrible parking situation and a really long line.
I still haven't gotten my mail ballot. It was "issued" on Oct. 12 and I've gotten my sample ballot, but no real ballot. I guess if it doesn't come by Tuesday I'll have to vote provisionally, but that's still annoying.

DH and I walked to city hall to vote today! Then on the walk home we stopped at our local taproom for $3 pints (a deal for those with voting stickers).
Dropped in with my son after work Wednesday. It was his second time to "vote" for a president, last time being four years ago when he was three weeks old. We were both very sad they'd run out of stickers. I'm pretty sure that's a crime. There were fewer than ten people ahead of us in line, so it went pretty quickly. One man was probably early thirties and it was his first time, another woman nearing retirement age and it was her first as well. We all cheered! Of course DS wanted to know immediately if we'd won. I told him that since we voted, we are winners. Then I tried to explain that everyone else needs a chance to vote and we won't know the totals until next week. I didn't bother telling him that voting democrat in TN is a somewhat hopeless cause, but somebody's gotta do it! Also, super proud of my kid for remembering not to talk about "the bully and the nice lady" while inside. He was a little disappointed because as I was selecting my choices on the touch screen, he thought I was selecting a show and was hoping for Paw Patrol.
This is the thread that's giving me hope. Regardless of who wins, I'm cheered that we're using our wisdom and our hearts, and our passion for democracy as we're casting our ballots.
This morning Mr M and I sat on our couch and made our selections. We wound up mostly on the same page (there was one state measure we both felt on the line about and wound up on either side), but I love the process of having another person to bounce perspectives off and do research with. No green or red dots though.
I just voted with my family at the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections. The line wrapped around the block. There was music and free Starbucks. It was extremely efficient but it still took an hour and a half because there were so many people. <3
My kids watched me fill in the bubble for Hillary and giggled.

I went to vote today, but ended up leaving. It was the only day of early voting my DH had off. It was a 4 hour wait. Hopefully I'll have better luck on Tuesday. I was hoping to be able to vote without the kids in tow.
