I tried out the new NYX drop foundation today. So far I love it! I thought my skin looked amazing after I put it on.
I thought it would be like the FX Cover Drops, but I ended up using it like a regular foundation. I need to play around with it more to get a good feel for it.
capscapscaps -- I love the idea of a lipstick challenge like that! I'm sure I own 60 lipsticks, but I usually only wear the same 2 or 3 at a time.

My ULTA still doesn't have the new NYX foundation. I'm running low on other stuff so I want a cheaper replacement ! Any other reviews? It's if more of a matte finish?
DarcyLongfellow, I watched emilynoel83's review last night of the NYX foundation and was disappointed that it wasn't really a dupe of the CoverFX drops. Seems like it's the NYX version of MAC's Waterweight foundation (which I'm finishing up).
I made a purchase at ulta I didn't plan to because of the skincare sampler beauty break and the shiseido beauty break going on at the same time. I can't resist free stuff, plus the points promos.... they keep sucking me back in.

Same. I was totally going to resist when it was just the skincare sampler, but then I saw the shiseido one...and....yeah.
I picked up a cleanser I actually needed, some sale shea moisture stuff because I'm totally falling in love with that brand, and some foaming handsoap for the house (also on sale) and then some nyx stuff for maximum points. spent $64, got 370someodd points. well...ok then. FINE.
I decided to do a 60 lipsticks in 60 days challenge on Instagram because I need to at least get some use out of my absurd collection. I started today. www.instagram.com/moar_makeup_please/
I'm going to follow you.
I mean, my stash is mainly of the mini ones but it's getting ridiculous.
I can't figure out what it is but something is drying out the corners of my eyelids. I just opened a new primer potion, I've used it before but I'm thinking that could be it. I also opened two deluxe mascaras, but I'm not sure if that would do it to my skin.
I think I'm going to toss the mascaras and try a new eye primer. Recs? tia
So I caved and bought th ABH Dipbrow. Holy hell. The do you use it without looking so severe? The first time I used it, I was like WHOA. Elvira. Even after a couple of weeks, it's taking some getting used to getting each brow even. I may return to LMs brow definer. So much easier to use. Lawdy.

I tap my brush slightly, then kind of tap it a couple times on the inside of the cap. I have to use a really light hand with it and it took a while.

Load your brush up, then wipe it on the lid to remove excess. Then brush lightly just on your hair. For areas that need filling, that's where you put it on the skin. Make sure you spoolie through when you're done.

I use and really like MAC paint pot in painterly. I'm allergic to the UD primer potion and the TF shadow insurance.
So this wall mounted makeup organizer looks like it's the bomb. If I am ever going to make myself a vanity area, I think this is how I will do it. Now I am trying to figure out what wall space I could use to do this in.
peachykate,I like the TF Shadow Insurance but if that doesn't work, my second favorite is NARS. I like to switch back & forth between them, though, b/c I feel like my lids will get used to one and stop working as well...like switching up different shampoos.
All the reviews on this powder mention how it cracks when you hit pan. I actually ordered some during the 5X Ulta points promo but mine hadn't come yet.
Do you have a CVS rewards card? They just sent me a 30% off in store purchase coupon. Those coupons or the $off coupons are when I pick up a lot of my drugstore purchases.
zoomzoom, I grabbed it today at Ulta, thanks for the rec!
I returned Becca Champagne Pop today, I just am not skilled enough to figure that out. I would think it looked good in the house and then head outside and not so much. My offer for Ulta was 200 points if you spent $45 so I bought the primer and Tarte's double duty highlighter/countor as it seems pretty cool toned. Both of those were only ten more dollars than champagne pop and I got 365 points. Fist pump.
I fell down the Kimberly Clark rabbit hole two nights ago, I was really missing out not watching vloggers in general. lol

I returned Tom Ford black orchid and got Versace Eros instead which I think will be much more wearable for everyday. I had $50 left and was almost at a loss, the project pan challenges have already changed how I think. I love pallets and blushes, but I already have way more than I know how to use up! I ended up with a TF peach lip oil in peach please, and Bite lipstick in fig.
The peach lip oil is amazing! But, extremely scented.
notasafeplace I do use it as a setting powder, and I adore it! persa I'd actually hit pan a while ago and it was fine. It cracked because I dropped it. I think you're going to like it!
I used WnW Reserve Your Cabana as a finishing powder yesterday (I'd seen a PP mention doing that). I looked like a disco freak alien with saucer-sized pores.
i've been waiting for a good code (that stays in stock) to make a sephora order and today noticed a couple new 100 point rewards including an UD vice lipstick in a pretty plum shade.

Try THEBOSS for a deluxe size of the new Sunday Riley vit c moisturizer. It's a nice sample so far.

The 100 point perks right now are great. I either have deluxe samples or full sizes of the BrioGeo hair mask, Belif cream, and the Fresh mask and I like all of them, and I'm getting an the Clinique eye cream. Also you can use the code SMOOTHEYE for a Caudalie eye cream, which I'm using right now and like (I'm guessing it's the same size as the one I have from a Play box, and it's lasted weeks). I'm very tempted by the tote bag for 250 points, but I keep telling myself I have a million bags and don't need it.

yeah - i think the samples are pretty good too. i'm getting the drunk elephant dayglow set after trying out the night set and loving it. adding in a flash subscription for this year too. grabbed the caudaile eye cream (promo code), the UD lipstick (100 pts), the fresh mask (100 pts), dior show mascara (free sample), too faced's glitter glue (free sample) and dennis gross alpha beta peel (free sample). $33. not bad.
