I didn't get the UD offer!!!

I just placed an order yesterday to take advantage of the 5x points. Then I was putting in my makeup and sharpening my UD liner in Brownout with my UD sharpener, and for the first time in almost three years, the pencil broke in the sharpener. And now it's super short and will need to be replaced soon, as it's my favorite liner.

And I'm wondering if I need a new sharpener.

I am impatiently awaiting my Sephora order.

I left my magic eraser at my parents' house. I use that thing a lot and I should probably replace it.

I went through my entire stash this morning, reorganized everything, picked out the 17 things I'm going to try to use up this year, and threw out a bunch of old stuff that I should've let go of a long time ago. Hopefully the re-org will mean that more stuff makes it into rotation this year.

If anyone else has trouble with nail polish chipping, try the sally hansen miracle gel polish. It's not a true "gel" polish that requires a light, but it lasts a long time. Even with out the top coat, it is awesome. Normally my polish chips the same day and with this I can go a few days before it chips.

I think I need to just go ahead and commit to an Alex drawer unit.I resisted for so long because it doesn't match my furniture at all, but I think I'll just stash it in my closet. I need to decide whether to get a 5 or 9 drawer. The five would just be makeup, but I could stash jewelry in the 9.

Reinforce the drawers when you build it. Glue the bottoms into the joints. Think of putting a brace across the bottom ect. I sent my short Alex to Goodwill because it no longer held "heavy" things. Granted I had it three years. But two years in the drawers started sagging and warping.

I also got 350 on 90. Not going to get anything though. I am picking out my 17 items today and focusing on that.

I did pick up the NYX foundation and brush the other day from the NYX store. I really like it so far and I could see making this my everyday foundation over that MLM foundation.

I just went through and organized all my makeup/skin care. I threw out a bunch of stuff that I couldn't even remember opening. I also realized that I have a major liquid lipstick problem.

This is my petite haul from yesterday. (ETA: I had a gift card from my boss for $100, but otherwise I'm committed to tightening the purse strings in 2017!) Austin has a NYX store and the array of lipstick colors was dizzying. I got Madrid, which looks brick red on most but reads a tad berry on me. I love it. And the Angel Veil is dreamy. Supposedly a dupe for Hourglass Mineral Veil, which I haven't tried. But I sure like the Angel Veil!

Then I splurged on the Keihl's creamy avocado eye cream. I just adore it. Henry, the clerk, assures me the $28 bottle will last me 6 months...

I randomly stopped getting emails and I sent them a message on Facebook about it. (I feel like they always respond quickly to fb messages) They reset my email settings and I started getting emails a few days later. Maybe try that?

I've got the 6 drawer.  Don't put anything heavy in the drawers because they will sag.  Also you cannot remove the drawers which is a total PITA.  It is also insanely heavy so make sure you have it where you want it before you load it up with stuff.  Mine has wheels so it is easier to maneuver but the 5 and 9 drawer ones don't have wheels.
