After almost 20 years of a lot of extra loose skin on her boobs (due to weight loss her freshman year of HS then losing a little more weight gradually over the last 5 years or so) making her somewhat self conscious in certain tops and swim suits, my sister is getting her boobs done today. She was originally going to wait until she was done having kids but realized 1. she'll be 32 next month 2. No SO and no babies on the horizon 3. she has the disposable income so why wait? So a lift and small implants (mid C cup, I think the doc told her) it is. I won't lie, I'm a little jealous.
This was my third morning in a row of early runs. Today's was 1. faster (overall pace 8:50) and 2. longer (7 miles) than what I'm used to, so I'm ready for a nap.
As someone who is still unsure about reproduction, I am SO glad I made the decision to just get my reduction done. I can't imagine still have my old boobs. Good for your sister!
My Wednesday random is that I am irritated with my Friday morning yoga teacher because I compare her to my super awesome Wednesday morning teacher. Friday is pretty aggressive with assists, Wednesday is gentle and actually helpful. Friday NEVER starts or ends on time, Wednesday almost always does. Friday barely gets me breathing heavy, Wednesday gets me good and sweaty (heh). I'll still go on Friday, but I'm not thrilled about it.

I'm parked on the tollway and have gone 2.2 miles in the last hour or so. I've been in the car for 2 hours and Google traffic says it'll be another hour to make it the last 10 miles to work.
Most of you here could have run from my house to my office in less time than it'll take me to drive.

The weather wasn't cruddy enough for a snow day, but I at least got an extra 2 hours this morning. I really had all intention of just sleeping a little extra and then getting up to do things before work, but it just didn't happen.
I have my last injection tomorrow, and I'm really hoping I can start working out for real soon. I've been able to use the stationary bike without pain and have been OK with the few exercises I've been told I can do, but I'm feeling kind of stuck. And shoving my pie hole with whatever on the weekends hasn't helped.

Iam tired of showering and having wet hair. Between Tuesday night (run), Wednesday (teaching morning and evening spin) and Thursday morning (run) I feel like my hair and skin/hair never gets dry or warm (even with the quick 2 min no hair washing rinse off. )
Also, any recommendations on compression socks? I got some aswift ones that I love, but I'm afraid they won't last. (But they are damn cute)
We are 2 hours late today, after a billion snow days in a row. I've seen my students like 4 times in the last month because of weather and winter break. It is insane.
I'm taking two night classes for my masters this quarter, I'm on leadership and 2 different committees at work, and I have the most demanding, energy-sucking co-worker possible right now. I'm just hoping I can make it to June and then let my principal know that I need to switch grade levels or something but I CAN NOT work with her another year or I will lose my mind.

I am considering entering the lottery to run NY. A bunch of my running buddies are entering it and have the last two years. None have gotten in yet. It's a bucket list race for me but I am running Chicago this year and until I can wrap my head around potentially running two marathons in a month I can't pull the trigger.

I'm gross so if I know I'm getting sweaty again in the morning, I don't shower after a PM run.
My skin does not appreciate frequent washing. Goes all itchy and tight even I'm just rinsing. I'll just do whore's bath with a wet washcloth and call it good enough.
I recently got CEP calf sleeves and they're lovely. Which makes sense since they were also much more expensive than the cheaper ones I've been picking up here and there. I imagine their socks are similarly nice.
Like 95% of the rest of the country, I have a 2017 goal to be healthier. But I'm not gonna lie, I'm REALLY wanting some wine right now. Well I mean, after work, since it's not even 10:30... But I also want to cut down drinking to be healthier, so it's been an internal struggle for me!
I think it's awesome your sister is getting her boobs done osulori! I'm jealous too! I'm 32 and we have no plans for kids, so I've been trying to convince H, but I'm not there yet. Maybe I can make that a 35th birthday goal.
In serious first world problems, it's just cloudy and windy enough down here that getting in the water is not appealing to me at all. I should have brought one of my running jackets just to wear around. I need some sunshine!
After getting soaked on my lunchtime run and bike commute yesterday, I drove and am sticking to the gym. Next time the forecast calls for an inch of rain, I should remember not to run. But at least I did it once!
Ugh, my schedule this week makes working out tough. I had appointments on Monday that prevented a workout, Tuesday I ran, today I have an early morning meeting and an evening meeting, so I am at work for more than 10 hours, tomorrow I have a car appointment at 7 am and then company coming over after work, Friday I leave for the DC March and will be traveling most of the day. So the next time I can run will be Friday afternoon once we get the NoVa. Blergh.

I was feeling like a blob yesterday and so antsy, I ended up walking on the treadmill for 50 minutes while my kids ate dinner, it made a world of difference. I need to remember that working out doesn't just have to be in the morning.
I've gotten headaches after my last couple of runs. I'm doing my same pre-run nuun + half a english muffin routine, and trying to stay hydrated the day before, so I'm not sure what's up.

Is the weather dramatically different? This happens to me when my ears get cold.

not really? this morning actually felt surprisingly warm, though the thermostat said it was 34 outside. It was foggy and very still and kinda felt nice.

My H would very much like me to have my boobs done and I bet if I brought it up he'd tell me to go get a consult ASAP. He actually asked me if I would ever consider it. I hold that over his head all the time now. Are you saying my boobs are too small? LOLOL. Actually, I went from a DD to a B from weight loss and exercising. I'm in no rush for big boobs again but I do wish they were perky.

I have no idea if this is a thing with implants, but I lost basically all feeling in my nipples when I had my reduction. My H finds them more attractive, but less fun now lol.

I love my ProCompression ones - I'm actually wearing them right now. I got them on a buy 2, get 3 free deal, which they are having again right now. I think the code is 3PLUS.
Can we talk runger? If I woke up hungry before my run this morning, ate my usual pre-run bowl of oatmeal, and 20 minutes later (still before I even ran) I was ready to eat my arm off...I didn't eat enough yesterday, did I?

Probably not. When I am that ravenous, it's usually from lack of calories the day before. That's why I am a bottomless pit the day after my long runs.

Oh that would be tragic for me! (uhhh...not to overshare or anything)
Noted...Wawa is officially Ok with her newly saggy bewbs.

I think I'm okay with mine for now, but if we have another baby I may not agree after that.
Sis is out of surgery and per mom "Loopy as all hell. Should I record her talking crazy talk?" I told her no.
After wearing a fuelbelt on my waist for years, I finally got a hydration pack and I can't believe I waited so long. I haven't ran long with it yet, so haven't used the bladder, but just having the small bottle in front, and being able to carry my phone and everything up on my back is so awesome. I don't even notice it's on. I'm sure when it's full with 2L that part will change, but it's better than 40oz on my waistbelt.

It's still totally worth it IMO
For a size reduction - oh yeah, definitely. That's often a quality of life thing. I've just got postkid B/C cups that used to be oh so very perky and now are....not. If I were to do anything it'd just be a small implant/lift kinda situation. It's entirely vanity related. I just miss being comfortable skipping a bra in public and being able to fill out a v-neck without a major pushup.
