I really liked the Nars Sheer glow as well(had gotten a sample), but their shade range is too yellow for me. Nothing in light with a pink undertone

Got my Ulta points haul yesterday - my first time cashing in 2000 points, plus the 20% off coupon - and it sure does feel like magic.

I did get some staples like Living Proof dry shampoo, a replacement Roller Lash and Clarisonic brush head, but still had plenty of points to splurge on the Modern Renaissance palette and Clinique Heather Pop blush. I used both this morning and LOVE them! As you guys noted, MR is definitely different from my Naked 2 and 3 palettes in terms of colors as well as formula. So using it for bolder looks will will take some practice, but I was very pleased with the neutral work-friendly look I did today. And the Cheek Pop is great! I have really only used Nars blush for the past couple years, and all of them (Orgasm, Goulue, etc) had some shimmer. Heather Pop is a very flattering natural color, pretty much matte and easily buildable. It gives me the option of doing a more natural looking blush and then adding shimmer, in the right amount and exactly where I want it, with a highlight. I definitely see another one or two of these in my future, probably something a little warmer for summer, like Fig or Ginger.

I also got an IT Cosmetics gel liner in Highlight. I'm pretty new to doing my waterline, and seeing such cool dramatic results with dark colors made me want to try a nude too. I'm more on the fence with this one. Formula is great, but it might be a bit too pink and shimmery. I've read good things about Nars Rue Bonaparte, but open to suggestions if anyone has a favorite.

Now time to start stalking the next points promo...

I'm loving that Becca Highlighter, definitely looks like a cool pink more than a straight up purple. And I also added the DE sample to a Sephora order, I can't wait to get it!

I bought 11 of the new color pop pressed shadows. This is my first time trying color pop and I'm really excited to give them a try. I'm trying to put together a z palette that is good for travel so I don't feel the need to bring 17 palettes with me whenever I go somewhere.

I watched a bunch of panning videos yesterday. Why are these people making themselves use up products they don't like and don't work for them? Especially the free travel size stuff. Life seems to short for that!

I've been using a beauty blender- however I have not tried other methods since I'm perfectly happy with the coverage, etc.

Like, this month's box came with the NARS Velvet Lip Glide in Bound and I'm inlove so I'm ordering a full-size one to keep in my purse. The shade is so perfect for everyday use.

Agreed.  Recent boxes have been pretty boring.  I'm starting to consider canceling....but I still have hope that maybe a good box will be in the near future.

I'm jealous you got the NARS lip glide!  I saw it was an option and was sad when it wasn't included in my box.  Oh well.

Agreed.  Recent boxes have been pretty boring.  I'm starting to consider canceling....but I still have hope that maybe a good box will be in the near future.

I'm jealous you got the NARS lip glide!  I saw it was an option and was sad when it wasn't included in my box.  Oh well.

Can anyone quickly tell me how the It Confidence in a Compact is, and what you use to apply it? I don't really want to spend $50 on the recommended brush if I don't have to.

Have you swatched it yet? It felt hard as a rock to me, like old school pancake makeup. I'd want a very firm, dense brush for it.

I haven't, I'm going to Ulta to spend my 2000 points (yay!) and trying to plan ahead. I don't really know what I'm doing with foundation!

OMG, me too! That was horrible!! Seems it's a common reaction when looking at Sephora's FB page and the product reviews on their site. I've never experienced a reaction to a lip product like that.

Omg me too! I thought there were peppers in there or something!
I got a multi stick and I love it. I used it as both blush and eyeshadow last weekend. For me it's more of a casual use item not a full face day but still enjoyed it.

Beauty blender. Though I've also used my fingers, and that worked fine too.
